Excellent campsite. Second visit, both times for air show. Beautifully maintained fields and pitches. Loads of space. Fabulously friendly, helpful owners. Best loos and showers we've encountered. Best pitches are the super pitches in the back field as they're away from the road which does go quiet at night but is fairly busy. One small downside for us and the reason for the overall rating 9 instead of 10 - the noisy dogs in the seasonal unit next to the loos. They were fairly close to us as the crow flies and they were at it all the time from 6. 30 a. M. Fairly sure we had this last year, same dogs. Nothing against dogs, there were loads of them but didn't hear a peep from any of them. We'll book early and request a pitch at the far end of the back field next time. It was quite intrusive or it wouldn't have been mentioned. Good location in Banwell, far enough from Weston to feel as if you're properly in the countryside but only a short car ride from loads of facilities. We found a couple of really nice pubs nearby. The Lamb at Weare. Traditional pub, friendly staff, great value, home cooked food. Fab Sunday lunch.
Also The Railway Inn just up the road in Sandford. Didn't eat there. Full up. Menu looked great, obviously very popular. Will book ahead next time. Mid price range.
Overall had lovely break at superb campsite and will definitely visit again. Thank you ladies. X

Brilliant site if you want to tour the area or a stop over night. Owners are so attentive. Second time here. Toilet block is top class / we had a super pitch for half the price you would normally pay keep up the good work x

Great relaxing place nice and close to great places to visit and very friendly people. Only a stone throw away from cheddar and western super mare.
We stopped on the front field again kids can play out in front on the grass and not worry about them going near to the road.

Perfect location for an over night on way down south but also a quiet place to stay and explore the area. Toilet block is spotless. Owner is so friendly and helpful. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

We were looking for a site in the West Country and saw glowing reviews for Stonebridge Farm so decided to give it a go.
Now we know why it has such glowing reviews, Sue works all day every day to ensure the site is clean and tidy and that customers are happy and comfortable.
The toilets/showers are excellent and cleaned regularly by contract cleaners which is a good idea.
No play area but a huge grass field for children to run about on.
Surrounding area is rich with visitor attractions and there is a Morrison's five minutes up the road for provisions and a paper, right next door is Costa, so morning relaxation is assured.
We were lucky, last week of September and first week of October, weather could not have been better. Last morning we sat in the sun and actually burnt!
It is unfortunate that there is not a local pub within walking distance, but not much they can do about that.
If I could just make a suggestion; could you put some hooks in the shower cubicles and a shower curtain would be nice to avoid the very fast backward two-step required to avoid the first spray of cold water from the shower? Thanks.
We would definitely visit again anyway but as it's close to the M5 it would make a pleasant stop-over for journeys further into Devon and Cornwall.

Stayed at this site for one night on 30th July to break our journey from Bude in Cornwall to go North. An absolute gem of a site. We were greeted by one of the owners and directed to our pitch which was a small field apart from the main campsite. Ideal for an overnight stay. Facilities were excellent. Toilets and showers spacious and spotlessly clean. Covered dishwashing area with lots of info regarding local area. Whilst close to M5 it's far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Large dog walking area and separate field for children to play.
A super site which we will probably return to in order to explore the area.

We spent three great nights at Stonebridge. This is a fantastic campsite. Pam & Sue who run the site are so helpful and welcoming. They seem to be working all the time and we would like to thank them for making our stay so special. I think they might remember us as our son broke his arm on the first day. He was very happy with the sweets they gave him!
Lovely pitches. Water tap on each pitch. We had electric (and used very little – unused credit was paid back)
Shower/toilet block is outstanding and as new, very clean and the water is hot and at no extra cost.
There are nice thoughtful touches everywhere. The washing up area has scourers and liquid. There are baby-changing facilities with change mats in the toilets. And recycling boxes on each pitch. There is also a small shop and freezey blocks are frozen for free. There is an information point, with details of local attractions etc.
The field is very large with ample place for the children to play safely. The site also has security barriers.
Local takeaways deliver and although the site is in a quiet village, there are plenty of shops within 5/10 minutes drive.
The welcome pack had useful information and some thoughtful things for the children.
This is a quiet campsite and a real gem. They have put a lot of effort into making this campsite special and deserve every success.
Highly recommended
D Christopher

This was just a weekend visit but we have stayed on this site for a week a couple of times before, and it gets better each year the owners are lovely and make you feel really welcome, they recently have a security gate for which you have a swipe card to get on and off site. Toilets are clean and spacious and always have a lovely shower here.
There are 2 fields which are always being improved with each visit, the location is great not far from supermarkets Morrison's and Asda, short ride in to western super mare and about 5 mins from the thatchers cider factory one of the best tours we've been on and boy have we been on a lot :-). I would definitely recommend this site and will be returning

Just returned from a delightful break at this brillant site.
Toilet block was always spotless and well stocked, and ample hot water in the free showers.
Electricity is on a pre paid card, but any left at the end of the the stay is refunded, entrance to the site is with a security card.
Directions on the website were excellent.
Plenty to do in the area, and shops are nearby, but essentials (eggs, bacon etc)can be brought from the site.
Best thing about this site. The people who run it, they couldn't be more helpful, and will be returning soon
