 We were lucky enough to visit this campsite this weekend. It is a lovely peaceful woodland site, with only a few pitches available.
This is, however also a very basic site - which was exactly what we wanted, but may not suit some! It is car free, so you are transported to your pitch on a quad bike triler - which the kids loved! There are no showers and only one portaloo - which back up at the top of a hill at the car park!
Drinking water is provided at each pitch by means of a large plastic water container.
You can have an open fire - each pitch has a fire pit which you pay extra for. The wood is free, and the kids will love foraging in the woodland to find lots of sticks.
All in all a lovely new campsite, but I wouldn't be able stay too long without a more convenient convenience and showers/hot water for washing up.
