just got back from a fortnight on this site and what a great little site it is. All the pitches are a good size with a picnic table and a barbie, your own tap and electric.
The owner is very friendly and tries to make your stay as good as possible. There is a pond at the bottom of site for any fishermen with roach. Rudd, some good size carp and sturgeon which are around 2-3lb but fight like a fish 4 times that size.
The toilet is clean and tidy with a toilet one side and toilet/shower the other, hand basin in each but no towel to dry your hands. Both are kept locked by key which you receive when you arrive.
The site is surrounded by open fields and at times the wind did get very strong so make sure you have a tie down kit.
Off the site to the right about 500yards is the beach where the signs of coastal erosion are clear the beach is shingle it is much nicer sand further down spurn head.
Turning left off the site and 500 yards is the pub the crown and anchor with a good selection of beers and wines and a menu to suit most tastes (mixed grill recommended).
The nearest shop is at easington (aprox 3 miles) and a supermarket trip is aprox 10 miles away in withernsea (tesco. Aldi)
If you are after a holiday with relaxing, fishing, walking, generally getting away from it all this is a good site to come to and as it matures I am sure it will only get better

Just returned from our 4th visit to this site and must say we enjoy it more every time. It is near our home but lets us relax and have a wonderful time with our friends who go in their caravan. The site is very clean and well-managed. The toilet and shower are well maintained and the whole site is pleasing to look at with flowers and plants. Richard, the owner is always there to assist in whatever way he can with a smile and friendly word - nothing seems to be too much trouble. On site there is also a well stocked fishing pond at which adults and children can have hours of fun. There are individual water points, electric points, picnic benches and BBQs for each well proportioned pitch. It is 5 minutes walk to the beach at Kilnsea and also handy for a cafe where they sell delicious ice-cream. Spurn Point and the Humber estuary are also close by for bird and wild-life enthusiasts and great for just taking a walk. If you want a little more 'life' then Easington and Withernsea are just a short drive along the coast road.

This is a fantastic well laid out and thought about site, easy access and pitching up. Having used hundreds of sites over many years of caravanning this one I must rate as excellent and a credit to the owner who is a great guy and happy to help and sort any problems. All the stops have been pulled to make this a perfect site with two loos and a new shower, water points, electric, picnic table and even a bbq to all pitches. All very clean. A fishing pond on site. Sea, pub, river, spurn nature reserve all within a few minutes walking distance. Fantastic

What an excellent site. Obviously well cared for, The owner Richard could not be more welcoming, accomodating and helpful and he has gone the extra mile in providing picnic benches and barbies for each pitch. Judging by what he has created to date shows that further improvements planned for the site will be done absolutely right. The toilet block is spotlessly clean and the waste disposal and bins are well shrouded, well planned and accessible. Pitches are well spaced and larger than normally expected. The site has been recently extensively planted with shrubs and trees and whilst immature now will further enhance the site as they grow and become established. For the coarse fishermen there is a well stocked pond on site and the sea angler is literally yards away from the Humber estuary or beach fishing on the seaward side. The Crown and Anchor pub is 500 yds away and offer a range of foods etc. Utopia! The site is situated for easy walking access to Spurn Head nature reserve where walkers and birdwatchers abound. If you are the type that enjoy fishing, nature, walking and very little commercialism then this is the site and area to have a most enjoyable weekend or holiday break. My wife & I will most certainly return to this site and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stayed here over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The site is well laid out and each pitch has its own water and electricity stand along with its own picnic bench and barbeque (supply own coals).
It has a separate toilet block for which you are given a key,no showers however they are planned for next year I was told.
It is about 500 yards from the beach which is sandy and quite wide although coastal erosion has set in there so there are a few muddy patches. The nearest pub (The Crown & Anchor) is about 500 yards in the opposite direction of the beach, a lovely pub which serves food although we didn't get chance to sample any as they do not allow dogs in the pub at all, shame really as it would have made the weekend. Ideal location for Spurn Point Nature reserve, no dogs on there either. There is a walk that the locals call the triangle, approximately 1 mile long and an easy level footpath where you can watch the big ships come up the river into the port of Hull.
All in all a lovely 5 van quiet site and a credit to Mr Scott the owner who really has pulled out all the stops.
