Great site all grass slightly slopes all new toilet /shower block very cheap, EHU available only a few miles from where we live just go up there for away from it all weekends. Nice walks up to the reservoir and the surrounding country side. On this visit it was Easter and I've never seen it so full yet it didn't seem overcrowded. This is are home county as I said so we tend to take the stunning scenery for granted, visit the market town Penistone and the Yorkshire Sculptor park is well worth an all day visit

After just a night in June we returned in September (2 nights) for another go and Ingfield Farm didn't disappoint. We got the pitch we wanted (the paddock) at the same bargain price; welcome was just as helpful and friendly; showers just as good.
This is a great base for exploring. We went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, an easy 20 minute drive and a great whole day out. Half day in Hedbden Bridge - v. Good. Went onto Peak District to drive back home to wales. The dog was highly amused by the free range chickens - roaming all over the site in the early mornings. Had she not been tethered she'd have had a free lunch. A highly recommended site

Spent a superbly relaxed long weekend at this site last weekend.
Very local to where my girlfriend lives (we were meeting up with some camping/Landrovering friends)
The site owners are very helpful and friendly allowing us to pitch where we wanted.
Views and general ambience were superb as were the (cleanest and well kept) showers/toilets.
Very reasonably priced I would have stayed a lot longer IF work hadn't got in the way.

Had a very comfortable stay just for one night last night (23rd June). For me and my VW T5 campervan (left wife at home just this once)with electric it was £12; would have been £10 had I been a Club member. Excellent value.
They were particularly helpful - I arrived late and the site was very wet following days of downpours; they went to great lengths to find me a dry(ish) spot with electric
I's basically a very large field on a farm and they are just about to add more new hookups (see other review)
The shower block was new and clean and the showers themselves excellent - great big shower head and lots of hot water. Nice touch to have folding chair hanging in the shower cubicle.
Just one gripe - needs hooks or a shelf next to the wash basins. However this doesn't detract from one of the nicest sites I have used.
If you want a clubhouse, a shop, late night drunks and loud music go elsewhere. If you want quiet and waking up by the birds in the morning this is for you. 10 out of 10.

Lovely site. Owners very frindly, welcoming and helpful. Very reasonably priced, £9 per night for camper van & awning with 2 adults and 3 children without electric. New shower/toilet block that was kept immaculately clean. Proper hand towel that was changed daily was a nice touch. Good supply of hot water for showers (50p) or washing up in the undercover area.
Amazing views and plenty of walks around local reservoirs were very picturesque. We have several young children, but still walked to the local pub (Fountain Inn) where we received a warm welcome and excellent food (many dishes homemade, including the chips)
All in all excellent site, we will definitely be meeting up with friends at Ingfield Farm again.

We had a lovely time here, during the week of school half term. The field is large and gently sloping, with a limited number of electric hook ups available - I'd guess half a dozen. The electricity system looks a bit jury-rigged, but we didn't experience any trip-outs during our stay. A long mains lead will give you more choice of pitches.
The lady in the bungalow was helpful and welcoming, and only charged us 10 pounds per night, 2 adults, two children including electricity. Very good value!
There are no facilities nearby, even the village shop is 0.8 miles away - but there are plenty of circular walks within a short drive, which kept us satisfied.
No ball games or kite flying are allowed on site, and there is no playground for children.
Toilets were very clean, though the gents urinal was clearly visible from outside the toilet block, with no doors in between. Curious.
All in all a great location, would highly recommend, especially at the price.

Nice little campsite. We stayed at the end of October so we were the only ones there. The shower rooms and toilet blocks were separated for male and female and the female shower room was lovely. It had been made up to look like a little bathroom, with curtains on the windows, and a bathmat for when you got out of the shower,it was very pleasant. The water ran hot quite quickly which was good considering how it was so cold the puddles had frozen!
It is tucked out of the way on a farm, so can be a little difficult to find, but not too bad. It is basically just a field on a farm, but that suited us just fine.
Will definitely stay there again next time I go up to Barnsley to visit family.
