Stayed for a couple of nights first weekend of July. By coincidence it was the official opening of the Droitwich canal.
Weather could not have been better and on Saturday walked to Droitwich - about 5 miles away - and back. Were enticed into the church at Salwarpe for fab cream tea. They had opened their doors for the canal opening to raise money for the church.
Found a great pub at Claines about a mile from the site with real ale. Be aware no food in the evenings but worth a visit for the beer and the novelty value as it is one of only two pubs in a churchyard!.
The facilities were spot on and owners very helpful.
We will definitely return

The place is absolutely brilliant value for money at £13 for the night with electric hook-up (2 of us and a dog, but you pay per pitch so number of people makes no difference - this is SO logical and I wish more campsites worked this way!). We received a friendly and helpful welcome (those who say the host was cold are evidently uncomfortable with sarcasm, we thought she was great!), and were directed to our pitch right on the bank of the river. This was a gorgeous spot to spend the evening, with ducks and swans milling about and a lovely atmosphere amongst the other campers.
The site is dog friendly - it does say to keep them on leads but in our experience everyone was fine as long as the dog is under control. One drawback is that dogs are not allowed in the cafe - as owners of a particularly needy dog that can't be left alone this was a bit of a challenge, but they were happy to do a takeaway breakfast so it was no drama.
The toilets were clean and tidy - as other reviewers noted there is no soap provided, but this is the sort of thing a good camper brings with them anyway! There are two larger sinks alongside the basins, which do for washing dishes.
As someone else noted, at the near end of the site you may be disturbed by the busy road (but drink enough cider and you won't notice!). I'm baffled at negative reviews citing the tiny playground (with the walks either direction on the waterways, who needs the playground?!)and the fact it was 'dark at night' (you're camping. Bring a torch!) as drawbacks of the place.
All in all, a lovely night spent in a lovely spot - and only 40 minutes drive from our home in Birmingham. We will definitely be back.

We visited the campsite may day bank holiday for two days. It was the only site that was available that weekend as we didn't ring till the Monday,
The site was a lovely flat grassed site with lovely hot running water for washing and showering, the only down points were that the bank was over grown so it was difficult to fish on,
The play area had only two swings and there wasn't any soap for washing hands when visiting the toilets which were clean and fresh.
A good campsite for a few nights but not really for a weeks holiday.
The owners were friendly and helpful, reasonable prices in the cafe. Would go again but only on the way to another destination.

Good Clean well run site, within a few mins drive of Worcester. Cafe and small shop on site (we didn't use them) and good toilet and shower block. The Pitches are enclosed within a bend in the river and there is a nice 3 to 4 mile canal walk each way out of the camp site. No pub or club on site but there are a couple of pubs on the main road into Worcester.

Very cheaply priced site, which was reflected in facilities to be honest.
Shower/toilet block was clean, but no soap for hand washing, and no separate dish washing facilities, just 2 sinks located in toilet block.
Site does have shop and cafe but didn't use either. However, people we were with said cafe was nice.
Fishing river is rather overgrown. Children's play area consists of 2 swings, which are rather rickety and too high off the ground! Also very dark at night, and being situated at the bottom of the field, the walk to the toilet block at dusk was rather daunting, could do with a few lights dotted about.
Site is in a good location, close to Worcester and Kidderminster. Good site for the price, although customer service and friendliness from the lady owner leaves a lot to be desired! (Not even a 'hello' on arrival!)

Stayed for 3 nights with kids (thurs - sun)
Great place for exploring - we took cycles and went up the droitwich canal route.
Only small downside is the noise pollution from nearby A449 - try and ask for a pitch at far end of field if booking in advance. (but this noise calmed after 10pm anyway).
Seems to be mainly local guests making use of fishing availability, or people pitching for a night whilst travelling up and down M5 on breaks.
Clean toilets and hot showers - shame no soap dispensers as an added touch. We didn't try cafe. Small play area, but kids preferred to explore riverside / canal etc.
Need a car as limited bus services.
Recommend an outing to Worcester - try the cycle route over Diglis bridge and mechanised lock.

Lovely little site on the outskirts of worcester, site is very well presented, clean shower and toilet facilities, 2 showers per male/female blocks, site is surrounded by a small river and a lot of the regulars seem to enjoy the fishing there.
There is a small shop and cafe on site that opens at weekends you can also book a 3 course sunday lunch if you like as long as you let them know by saturday.
The thing I most liked about the owners was they were willing to let ball games be played but when the ball was seen to be hitting peoples tents or caravans she was over to stop it right away.
We visited stourport and worcestershire as our 2 children love the funfair at stourport, and there not much for small children to do on site with just 2 swings and a few swinging bars.
Very quiet of an evening. Would certainly use again. At £12.50 with ehu for a family of 4

Visited this site over mayday bank holiday, booked fairly late notice (1 week before) where others were turning us away, with electricity. Very helpful staff at the shop.
All toilet blocks and showers are always maintained and clean, tidy and smelling fresh.
Site itself is very picturesque with postcard photographs in most directions from the weir running underneath the bridge by the reception to the canal, which sits the other side of the statics, and the river that streams right round the site encompassing 3 sides of it.
Kids play ground limited with only swings and 3 bars, however as there's always plenty of children on site didn't cause a problem as they all play together.
Site is very well located about 7 minute drive from the M5 which made it very handy for a quick weekend away, shops are a drive away as is Worcester city centre however local enough to provide you with something to do if the weather is inclement.
On-site shop very well stocked with most of your camping requirements and a cafe which opens till 1pm means if you can't be bothered to or don't have the means to do breakfast you can relax and let someone else do it for you.
Pitches are nicely spread out with plenty of privacy because of this it means you don't have to worry too much about other peoples noise, although mostly other campers are respectful.
We found it very good value for money at £13 per night with a large tent with electric hook-up and we had such a lovely weekend we've booked to go back Whitsun week and even been given the same pitch as before!

Visiting this site for two days. Once on way to Devon, and once on way back. Nice quite site, but probably business is affected by road works.Don't let them deter you. Very friendly staff and nice toilet blocks, although a hundred yards away. Pricing is excellent. Will use as base again. Visit Worcester the city has so much to offer, especially when music festival is on.
Avoid city centre take away pizza delivery who charge for out of boundary deliveries.

Stayed for 3 nights - nice little site, although I think we were the only ones stay there for this period, a few caravans dotted about but I think they were sited for the season. Location is just of the A449 truck road, yes you can hear traffic if you really listen out for it but very minimal and only if you pitch on the first row. Current road works going on at the minute but don't left that put you off.
Located 3 miles from Worcester City centre, 16 miles from Evesham both great for shopping. Plenty of pubs along the A449. Play ground on site consists of 2 swings and the remains of a wooden shack - not great. Access to site is shared with a boat yard and there are several boats moored around the surrounding river, river completely encircles the site. Two further fields on site one with residential statics and the other for rallies I think. Shop / cafe on site which looks good but only open on the weekend so didn't have the opportunity to try it out.
Toilet block was always clean and bright, about 5 loo's and 2 showers in both men / womens. Only one toilet block located at the entrance to the site so maybe a little bit of a walk.
Would / will book again
