August 2004 I am a regular customer at windmill Hill caravan site, I go there on a minimum of 3 times a year. The site is within walking distance of Pembroke town and a short drive away from the best beach in Pembroke, Freshwater West! The site is a welcoming site and has the most wonderful atmosphere! Family run, this site has hot water, eletric points and everyone is happy to help with any problems! I will definately be there all this summer! A.mills

August 2004 Can only echo all these rave reviews about Windmill Hill. It's great and at £2.50 pppn fantastic value. It has to be the best site we stayed at on the West Coast of Wales and we toured from Swnasea round and up to Anglesey. The Pembrokeshire coastline is spectacular and anyone visiting these parts must go to St Govans Chapel. The way it is literally built between two cliffs you have to see it to believe it.

August 2004 This is a great campsite. It is close to one of the most wonderful beaches in Wales - Broadhaven South and a few minutes from the historic town of Pembroke. The campsite is on a farm and is family run. It has hot showers, washing faclities, electricity and access to fridge and freezer. The family are very welcoming and should you so wish to get up at 5 in the morning, allow you to get involved with milking. At £2.50 per person per night I thought this was a bargain for services offered. If your after a campsite where you want to arrive and not do anything else for the whole holiday such as campsites with swimming pools, leisure facilities etc this is not for you. If however you want to be made welcome and intend to go off to explore the beautiful south Wales coastal area then this is for you. I could not fault it and I hope to return next year.

August 2004 This site is just up the hill towards Angle / Freshwater West / Castlemartin from Pembroke town centre and is within walking distance of the town's amenities.
There's a large level field for tents and a seperate field for touring and "seasonal" touring caravans.
Very cheap (£2.50 pppn) and you pitch where you want. There EHUs around the permimer of the tent field, but we didn't use them.
The shower block is very small but clean (two shower cubicles WITHOUT any kind of changing areas, three toilets and three hand basins) but it's all free. The kitchen area is small, only two sinks, but there's free hot water, and a free microwave, fridge and large chest freezer for campers' use, which was well-used for re-freezing coolbox blocks. There is also a basic chemical waste disposal point and a small area for rubbish bins which is segregated for recycling stuff.
It was a very laid-back site, without the manual of rules and regulations that you are given on some sites. You were very much left to get on with it, which was great. We didn't even have to book in the middle of August.
It is a good base for walking the coastal path, and for the many great beaches and towns in Pembs. I liked it very much, and would certainly visit Windmill Hill Farm again.

July 2004 Excellent campsite & very good value for money. We paid £2.50 per night each for 2 adults in a smallish tent. That includes hot water, showers and use of a small kitchen area. Friendly owners who take good care of the site. Good, mostly flat camping field plus a more sheltered field for caravans. Electric hook ups in both fields. Within walking distance of Pembroke & easy driving distance of several nice beaches & walks.
