May 2005 we have just returned from a long weekend there and were very pleased with the site. The toilet blocks and showers were clean the farmer himself was a lovely man, always friendly and happy to help. The grass was kept short, the dog walk was nice and also clean. We had to stay on the rally field as he was fully booked, although a little bumpy and the ground was hard it was still a good place to camp. The family dog, Flick, greeted everyone who arrived, very well trained dog who kept the children amused for hours. There were also 2 rabbits and a guinea pig for the children to hold, a basic childrens park, climbing frame and swings. The children loved it, they were able to run about and play games and the farmer even held a tug of war for parents and children. He also kept check on the noise level after 11pm - if anyone made to much noise he would be out to put a stop to it. I would certainly recommend a holiday here, I know we will be returning very soon.

June 2004 This is a lovely peaceful countryside site, there are 2 fields, a quiet field and a family field, but the family field was also quiet when I was there. There isn't a pub in reasonable walking distance, but you could cycle to pubs and shops in Dunholme, Welton and Normanby. The site owner will be hiring out cycles and tandems later in the year (they were not ready for hire yet when I was there, but he kindly lent me a bike for my stay there). Milk and newspapers can be ordered for the next day and gas can be provided. There is a footpath to the nearest villages to the north and south, but there is not much there, apart from a georgian church of interest in Saxby. Nearby places of interest are Market Rasen (race course), Lincoln - (castle, cathedral, lincolnshire showground), Rand farm park, Hemswell sunday market - www.hemswellmarket.co.uk , Woodside falconry, but generally just a nice quiet area for exploring the countryside and villages (preferably cycling on the flat quiet lanes).
