We stayed for 2 nights, the cafe was only open till 11 30 on sunday and till 1 15 in the week and on monday when we left it didn't open at all.
The traffic noise was annoying as it was constant.
We left on the monday and there was only 2 tourers on the site, it says on the internet site that this is an adults only site, it is not.
The toilet block was clean but only 2 showers in each block.
Improvements could include take away, licenced club or shop possibly updated to move with the times.

Had not planned to stay at this site so had not checked it out on-line first. Pleasantly surprised - although agree that the roadworks outside at present are very daunting on arrival and exit! Site well laid out and facilities very clean, although would be quite a distance from some of the field camping areas to make use of them. Owner very accommodating, the site was very quiet so cafe/shop not open - but she was happy to open up if you needed anything. Husband happy with a day's fishing, which carried a nominal cost. Only stayed two nights so did not check out public transport, Worcester 10/15 minutes drive away. Only downside for us was that @ a cost of £15.00 per night (for 2 adults, camper, utility tent and EHU), we have stayed at sites with swimming pools and clubhouses! However, would recommend for its cleanliness and accessibility (once roadworks complete).

Not the best site we have been so far. I have expected little bit more. There were road works just opposite site and we could not find no public path for walking as they were disrupted by this work. It is surrounding by a river but you can't see river as it's overgrown, apart from the entrance to the site by statics little bit. Tv bad reception (no at all). May be good for very small children. Only one block of toilets where you have to walk quite far and in the end did not find no toilet paper.
But Malverns were nearby where we had great time.:)))

Just returned from our second visit there in the last year.
Fantastic site.
Great if you have kids as they can play out safely on the field in the middle and are within sight of all the statics, so they have their independence and you have a bit of peace and quiet whilst being able to check on them at all times.
Peaceful location, great walks, great bike rides.
Cant recommend the place enough

I visited this site over the August bank holiday this year and was very pleased with everything. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is extremely cheap to camp and there is plenty of space.
There is a small shop and cafe on site which does a full breakfast for £3 including tea or coffee. As this was a bank holiday weekend understandably the cafe was busy, the staff coped very well with this and we didn't have to wait long for our food. They also do a 3 course Sunday lunch for £6.20.
I noticed that the toilet block was cleaned on the Saturday and Sunday and was kept to a high standard. The showers are also free and there is large sinks for washing up.
I would recommend this site to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing cheap weekend away.

My husband, grandchildren and I stayed here initially for two nights, found the site peaceful and relaxing, although traffic noise can be heard, it is not obtrusive as other reviewers state. We loved this site and decided to stay on. Owners and staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Toilet/shower block cleaned to a high standard. Excellent cafe/shop. Fishing can also be enjoyed at a small cost. Would recomend this site to family and friends-absolutely wonderful!

We stayed here on the night before the Dragon Boat Racing event in Worcester in order to break up the journey. When we phoned ahead the site advised they do not accept sports teams, but as we knew we would not be causing trouble we turned up anyway and were not questioned.
Although the site is on the A449, we did not find the noise as intrusive as other reviewers, but you can hear white noise when sitting outside.
Toilets and showers were suitably clean, and the shop/cafe is basic but adequate. There is no dedicated washing up area, but there are deep sinks in the toilets which sufficed.
There is a nice circular walk along the disused Droitwich canal for those who have dogs or like history. Worcester is 10 minutes drive and the Malverns are around 30 minutes away.

The people who run the site are lovely and the site itself is fine. However it is right on the a449 and there is nothing they can do about it. The noise is non stop all day and night. We camped as far from the road as possible thanks to the kind advice of the owner and all we could hear all day were cars and all through the night. The site is well maintained and toilet block is new and very clean. The on site cafe is good value as in the food is cheap but so are the ingredients. The owners keep the site decently its no frills but they charge a fair price because of this, however whoever owns the land next to it are not so careful and there is a lot of rubbish tipped down the sides of river banks and bits of safa etc strewn across the views. As for the surrounding area well its on the a449 and I mean ON IT! So you can get to Worcester in about 5 mins and thats about it. ALl this nonsense Ive read about Cadbury world etc is rubbish as I live in the area and I promise you they are hours away. The safari park is about 40 mins and is great day out as long as you dont mind spending 60£ plus.
In short the site is not worth an actual visit and should only be used for those on their way somewhere else as a stop off and you will need ear defenders.

We spent 6 nights at this site and felt it was great. Alright the shower / toilet blocks are not the best we have seen but they were always clean and there was never a queue. We found this site totally basic and the shop isnt open during the week but we had the feeling that the staff would have opened it if we asked them, but having a car meant we could travel to the nearest shop [2 minutes away]. We found a lovely walk adjacent to the site. Having no clubs and such meant the kids had to make their own amusement [which in an age of video games and computers was brilliant!] we had afew games of its a knockout and board games and actually talking to each other! We would definitely visit this site again. We stayed in a 6 berth tent.

We stayed here for a weekend break ideal for visiting the city.
The was no where to wash up [only in either the ladie or gents toilets] which was a bit if a pain having to take it in turns to wash up.
The hot water seemed to go off and had to wash up in cold water all weekend. Would rather they charge to use the hot water than say its free when it doesn't work after 8am in the morning or after 5pm in the evening!
Not the best site we have stayed at but good for a stop over.
