Not a lot to say about this site.
Lovely location and still close to Cheshire Oaks outlet village the wardens are very pleasant and made us feel very welcome, the toilet block is very clean and centrally located. It is only half an hour away from our home so we will defiantly visit again for weekend getaway.

I'd consider this site to be brilliant for the winter - when we went. All hardstandings good basic facilities, pub next door and very near to cheshire oaks for shopping, cinema, bowling etc. Not sure i'd go in the summer, unless we needed to be near chester, as i'd probably favour the coast/less commercial area. But when the weathers poor and dark nights the close proximity of what cheshire oaks can offer is a bonus!

Excellent site. All areas were spotlessly clean and showers were always hot. Wardens were helpful without being overpowering. Well situated for Chester etc, and as said, before if your a hungry horse then the pub will sort you out.

April 2005 A very pleasant site just 5 minutes from the motorway. Up to the usual Caravan club standards. Gravel hardstandings with plenty of room, site surrounded by mature trees and hedging, nice and quiet despite the proximity to he motorway .A 10 minute walk from the site leads you to Cheshire Oaks shopping centre, with its nearby Cinema & entertainment complex ,a good Supermarket nearby. We took the Park & Ride bus to Chester via Chester Zoo or if you want, take a Park & Ride to Liverpool! takes about 45 mins. Site also convenient to two Pubs with usual bar meals. Excellent site.

June 2005 fantastic site! We were a little dubious about camping on a members only site, but were talked into it by a member of family (who is in the club). On arrival we were given a very welcoming greeting, the wardens were very friendly. They showed us to our pitch and couldnt have made us more welcome. The pitches are beutiful and the toilet block was fantastic. The tent area is near a road which is a little noisey but it didnt interfere with our enjoyment at all. As a young couple (early twentys) we tend to feel a little isolated ( we feel people look at us and think we will make loads of noise- this is not true) but on this site we were constantly saying hello to people and chatting which always makes for a good time!
We liked it so much here, we booked it again before we left! This site is fantastic and a credit to the staff who look after it!
Happy holidays, Richard.

June 2005 what a wonderful site, we were made to feel very very welcome on this site. We were slightly cautious about going on a caravan club site, but everyone was very friendly to us. The facilities are second to none and the location is spot on. The tent pitches were spacious, we didnt feel crammed in at all.
I would recommened this site to anyone, infact we booked it again, so it must be nice!

We stayed on site for the weekend and I could not fault it. The site is well spaced out, very clean and very well drained. The toilets are 9/10 which pleased my wife. All pitches that were hard standings are very large and are well away from other caravans... Lots of shops close by and a hungry horse pub just one minutes walk away.. superb site...

July 2004 Not caravan club members but very good welcome - warden even phoned us with directions when we were en-route. Very clean and well worth a visit. Lovely food available at a near-by pub.
