 My first drive out with my new (old) motorhome and decided to stay close to home
The site is basically a stony car park (type 1 chips) I was the only person using the site at the time.
Hook up was via an extension to the hotel. There is no toilet block, no showers, no toilet disposal, fresh water or bins. I know these things aren't mentioned in their advertising but a bin at least, would have been helpful.
The owner's (also own hotel) were lovely and did offer use of the hotel shower's but I declined. The area is very small, quiet and has lovely views.
Could not get a TV or WiFi signal. No phone signal either for calls/text. Not necessarily a negative, just depends on what you're looking for.
Personally, I felt £15 was a touch steep for a one night stay with no facilities whatsoever BUT It was my first venture and maybe this is a normal fee for the type of pitch I got?
The owner's do plan on adding toilets etc at a later date and also, proper 'hook up's' but as yet, have no firm date in mind.
Lastly, I took my 10yr old daughter and there is absolutely NOTHING for children except a wee walk round the village.
