 The site is really geared for chalets. Around the perimeter, or in the odd gaps between chalets, are the touring pitches. These pitches are likely also to have a fire hydrant, road sign, manhole cover or tree by them, in order to make access interesting.
Electrical points are french 2 pin rather than the European Standard blue and it is 10 amps. The sanitary blocks are newly built, but bizarrely in 1990s style. The water is just hot enough for a pleasant shower. There is a very large water complex with indoor and outdoor pools, sun areas, hammans and spas. These were very popular with the chalet residents. There is a small snack bar which we didn't use. The internet is expensive €15 per week per appliance
Saint Cyprien is the poor relation between Canet plage to the North and Argeles sur mer to the south. Each of these accessible by the very good 'voie vert' system.
As a stopover for a motorhome this site may be OK but not really suitable for other methods of touring.

When we arrived the site was not fully open, so we were limited in choice of pitch, however the pitches were flat and sand/gravel, the facilities were very clean, and the pool was open, Saint Cyprien is a very flat area and the site is only a 10min stroll from the village/town centre, the very long fine sandy beach is a few minutes further but not much, we stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Barcelona, it is a lovely site in a nice setting and we will go back again, it is ideal for those with wheelchairs/mobility scooters, cyclist and those with young children, if you turn right out of the gate and walk up the road you might get invited to join in a game of boule as their were many people playing while we were their. Finally the site was very quite while we were their.
