The previous reviewer is pretty spot on actually.
We stayed in the top field which is next to the entrance drive.
The electric hook-ups were limited .
The Toilet block in this field was an old porta-cabin with fake /laminated wooden panelling.
There is a domestic electric shower for each sex with a shower curtain. (but there is at least lighting in this one). I would suggest you take spare toilet roll.
The children loved the place and slept ok through the party that was on in the adjacent Heart of England conference centre and marquee.
The main theme that struck me was that the place is in its early years, much has been done but the place seems to have acres of land and quite spread out, almost as though the owner is needing to start getting the punters in, so he can develop further.
Staffing seemed well short of what was needed and all I heard the staff saying was 'sorry, we are short staffed today' but they said the same the next day.
In general the way events/rides were run was very dis-organised.
The camping side falls well short of the mark.
The toilet and shower block in the building where the kids parties are held is very good and clean but as said by others gets locked about 5.30pm (even if it were made available to campers, it would be a bit of a walk in the middle of the night).
If you're in need of a mini food shop, a short drive back into Meriden provides chippy, co-op, butchers and a newsagents.
Since the kids enjoyed it, I would go again, but only for a day trip.
The highlight is the beach and the fun the kids can have (if you can find a ride operator).

Heart park itself is great but the camping facilities are poor. The toilets you use from 6pm onwards are not clean and only have cold water not suitable for drinking. We were not told anything on arrival and had to pretty much find out things for ourselves.
There's no shop on site and when we tried to leave the park to find a shop we were locked in till 9am. Also the shower blocks are quiet far and were meant to be open from 8.30 but did not open till 9am.
Also we went to have something to eat and the cafe has beem closed down and the little hut that sells food had a problem with electric so no food and no local shops to buy from.
We were first time campers but we at least expected somewhere to wash up and some drinking water having 4 small children

Our family have just returned from two nights at Heart Park and whilst we think that the beach is fantastic, the camping and caravanning side of things needs improving.
Our kids (6 and 2) absolutely loved the beach and the free activities such as bouncy castles, fun bus, train, swings etc and the swan pedelos which were £4 for a 2 seater one and £8 for a family sized one. The staff are very helpful and very polite.
Our caravan was in a fantastic position by a duck pond, complete with very friendly ducks and was a two minute walk from the beach. However, the only decent toilet and shower block has very restrictive opening hours. The listed opening times are 7am until 5pm but I went over at 8.30am and it was still locked up. When open, the showers are free and nice and hot. I’d like to suggest to the owners that a keycode lock is fitted on the door so that resident campers can access the facilities whenever they need to out of hours.
The only other toilets on the lower field are in a portacabin by the beach. They are fairly clean, but there is no electricity so if you go at night you will need a torch.
The shower block on the top field looks like and old rickety garden shed. We didn’t go in so can’t comment on what it was like. It may be fine, but if it is then the exterior doesn’t match.
There is no Elsan point, only a manhole cover by the side of ‘The House’. There is no hose pipe either for rinsing out after emptying. There is only one grey water drain and this is by the manhole cover although I was told we could empty our wastemaster in a hedge which was a lot easier than lugging a full one up a hill for about 200 yards. There was one standpipe on the lower field which was only a short walk away.
One thing I would check if staying is if there are any functions going on at the conference centre on the nights you are staying. There was a function on the Saturday night we stayed and it went on to 12.30am complete with fireworks. Fortunately, our children didn’t wake up as they are heavy sleepers however as the marquee was only around 200 yards away from our caravan it was very loud and kept me awake. This was the only thing that spoilt the weekend for me. The previous night had no functions and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Bliss.
In summary, a great day out but come prepared for poor facilities when the good ones are locked and potentially noise overnight if a function is on. Hopefully if the owner sorts out their current planning and legal issues with the beach site then improving the camping facilities will become top priority. If they do, then this will be a fantastic place to spend a weekend but is very much a ‘work in progress’ at the moment.

Having not found a review on this site I was a little worried, I rang to book as we wanted a spot with electric-hook up,but they said to turn up and pay. We arrived paid then was told that the field with hook-up was being used by people who wasn't using electric. This aggravated me a little but as we had a drive down further towards beach there were plenty of hook-ups.
This site is still finding its feet as this will be its first year and was told they are short staffed. Kids loved its,ages-5yr,to 10yrs, to 12yrs,a dog,4 adults.
The public portable loos at top field by beach were iffy, loos on camp field ok, main block with showers were nice. These close at 6ishpm till 8.30am times may change peak season. The guys on site were nice, girls on entry also. So yes we are returning again in kids holidays.

I will cover points already mentioned, but worth reinforcing to potential campers wishing to visit this place. We attended on 2010, but thought better in leaving a review, albeit I was fairly peeved off after my stay at this site.
We were a family of four in a convertible caravan. First trip away and having called them to book appeared confident based on the web site and the pleasant lady on the phone.
The dream was soon to change.
The good points. Nice to look at, ideal for walkers. Grand club house but caters for special events and weddings rather than campers.
Nice looking lake well laid out and unique.
The bad points:
Toilets and showers, well do they exist? Yes they do, but not near to the camping fields. Are they open to be used all day? Frankly No and no staff could answer why, but very sorry.
Portacabin facilities. Well I have seen better third world facilities and these are not fit for human use and certainly not fit for purpose. This is a male and Female arrangement and is in a poor state. You need to wipe your feet on the way out, so I think this will explain them in simple terms.
Elsan point? Could not find one, I did see people drop their stuff down a man whole.
Fresh water. One point I could find next to portacabin.
Onsite facilities: No shop, we expected this, No bar to speak of other than the main hotel bar, which I could not find any staff, because they were all doing other things.
Large lake and children's facilities such as merry go round, fun bus and other bits and pieces. This is an absolute joke for what they charge campers. They want your pitch money and extra payment to use the pathetic facilities also, even when you are on site.
My opinion based on our visit, don't waste your time or money. Find an established site, Clearly they don't cater for campers and appear to give the same excuses, and Sorry! This in simple terms is a waste of money and offers nothing.
My expectations are not high for any site, but clearly this site has to spend more money and improve its basic facilities, but I doubt I would revisit anyway.
