We are so happy to have found a genuinely dog friendly site (instead of restricting to 2 dogs, this camp accepted our 4). We are so grateful!
We showed up without a booking, although we had tried to make contact the night before but I believe the owners were out and missed our call. No matter, on arrival we were welcomed and a pitch was available although I think if it had been later in the year this might not be the case as it appears to be a rather small campsite.
There is only one toilet and one shower both of which were in good clean condition. The only thing missing here was heating in the shower room which is basically a wet room, the floor was cold on the toes.
To access the site there is a long single track lane, beware of bumps and potholes (we've been along worse).
There are lovely views from the site and we could see Bamburgh castle from our pitch.
Over all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Brilliant site, really friendly and helpful.
Good facilities all you need.
Loved that it was a working farm and was small and not overcrowded with some great walks to the beach and castle.
I will be back.

We stayed for 3 nights in mid September. The location of this site is its strength.
You can walk along the beach, (which is just under a mile away using footpaths), to Bamburgh one way and Seahouses the other, and the beach is lovely.
The site itself was a disappointment to us having read all the favourable reviews.
All pitches do not have views of the castle and if you are not lucky enough to have that view, your view is mainly of farm buildings or other campers.
The shower is good and as others have said, very clean.

Stayed here several times before. A little jewel of a site. Owner Lesley friendly and helpful.
It's a working farm so be prepared for tractor noise, combining etc depending when you come and some animal noise but generally a quiet peaceful site. No shop.
Road/lane from seahouses to the site potholed but easily passable taking your time.
Only 8 pitches (not 15 as this website states) with 5 hardstanding but the grass pitches suitable for smaller 'vans & caravans, all have 10A electric hookup. All good sized, our motorhome is 8m long and fits on almost all of them.
One toilet and one shower/wet room on site which are basic but always clean and sufficient. Washing up facilities/big sink but no hot water.
If in a motorhome the drinking water tap is on your right just before you enter the site through the gate, stop and fill up as there is a long hosepipe before you go to your pitch.
Not able to reserve pitches and your pitch number is on a sheet on the door to the house. All have good views of the castle.
Chemical toilet & waste water disposal and recycling bins.
We don't have kids but would be suitable for any age but is mainly couples young & older we have found. Dog friendly but keep on leads at all times due to livestock. There is a resident cat called Twix who is friendly & will greet new guests!
Sited midway between seahouses & Bamburgh with views of Bamburgh castle, it's a 30 min walk into seahouses on the road and about same again to bamburgh across nice easy paths and fields. Ask Lesley for directions!
Plenty of shops in seahouses including good sized Co-op. Fish & chips there has to be Lewis's which has nice indoor dining area. Best in town.
Bamburgh not many shops but good tea rooms and 3 good pubs all serving food. Not tried them.
For a treat and fantastic seafood try The Potted Lobster in bamburgh but ring and book during holiday season. Lovely little deli there also with gorgeous crab sarnies.
Bamburgh beach? Best in UK we think. Huge, white sands, dunes, clear blue water and the magnificent castle, what more could you want.
Overall a lovely little site which we come back to every year. Basic but it's sufficient, location excellent and highly recommended.

Excellent coastal location with Bamburgh castle on the skyline, glorious sandy beach within short walk as well as the amenities of Bamburgh and Seahouses.
Site a mix of hardstanding and well mown and picked up grass, separate toilet well supplied with soap/loo roll and paper roll, spacious wet room shower. Owners very pleasant and helpful.
Be aware this is a working farm and access has potholes, just take your time. Local council has been asked to do something about the potholes.
We have booked again

Good site. Only took 8 vans so the 1 toilet and 1 shower were adequate.
Working farm very peaceful and relaxing.
Suggest don't follow satnav but take b road into Bamburgh and coast road to Seahouses turn right sp shortest. On and then 1st r after the hall.
Definitely return rate 10

Lovely quiet site, nice and clean. 9 pitches. Mainly grass and hardstanding. Great views over fields to Bamburgh castle.
Walk from site into Bamburgh village or to Seahouses.
Be aware if you walk over the field/path to Bamburgh, there is a field with cows in that do get onto the path, especially if you have a dog with you so we went another way!
You can walk upto Ingram Lane via a field and that way has no cows in fields!
Only 1 toilet/shower on site so if busy, would mean a wait if you don't have your own facilities onboard!
Free wifi.
Would stay again.
