Absolutely fabulous tent. Easy to pitch, large living space, generous two berth, sewn-in groundsheet, big windows, two door and mesh throughout. Another bonus is the very large porch which allows cooking space on rainy days and a nice place to sit with a mug od tea to watch the world go by. Brilliant!

I bought this tent from Argos for £169! It is a fantastic tent once up, the only down side is the inner goes up before the flysheet. It is a huge tent with great living space we have two children. The windows are fab they totally undo or you can just have the mesh done up. The back door has mesh too. There is a door between the porch area with mesh too. I have seen similar tents which just seem to open straight into the porch area.
There are two great big windows at the front of the tent which let lots of light in.
The only reason I have bought another tent is because I want 3 sleeping compartments and I have up sized.
One or more of the nights all four of us slept in the same sleeping compartment, so plenty big enough for a double air bed and two ready beds!
As previous people have said if you see this snap it up, as the newer Coleman tents don't look as good as this one.
The porch is plenty big enough to use as a kitchen and cook in, we even had enough room for our picnic table and chairs for eating inside on chillier evenings and rainy days.

We bought the Coleman Vehlas from Argos of all places in 2008. We wanted a double skin tent and this tent was perfect. We used it half a dozen times and it was a breeze to erect and take down. It was brilliant in all the elements . It was an excellent first purchase but you couldn't get a carpet or footprint to match.
You cant find this tent anywhere nowadays but if you happen to be able to get your hands on one then snap it up immediately , you wont be disappointed.

Used this tent two years now and for a family of four its perfect! porch area superb and sewn in living quarters very roomy and really warm and cosy when weather at its worst(its been thoroughly tested north and south). Seen plenty of other tents but not tempted to trade in at all. Like previous reviews only thing stopping 10/10 is having inner to erect first, but not really a big issue.

I swapped this on holiday! (mad I know, but true) as I'd been admiring it so much and the owner said they loved my bigger tent (that didn't have a sewn in ground sheet) I have young children, so I loved having the cooking area separate to the sleeping/play area, plus because it was a double skin, it was so much warmer than my old tent. Would deffo recommend for families of 4/5/6 plus it's light in colour too, not too dark like some of these blue ones around at the moment.

This is our second year of camping with this tent. It is very spacious and roomy - we are a family of four, one room for parents and the other for kids - keeps their clutter out of your way. Excellent living area which is great when the weather is rough for chairs, tables etc. And porch is great for cooking in in bad weather. Sewn in ground sheet makes it cosier on colder nights. My sister and her family have camped with us - her, her husband and her two kids in one room and us in the other and there was plenty of room. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone. (We were lucky and also got it half price but it is definitely worth it's full value.)

Fantastic tent, easy to pitch, would have given 10/10 but because its inner tent first then the flysheet this can be problem in the wind/rain.
First time we used it, the weather was at its worst and rained constantly for two days but it held its own admirably. Plenty of space for chairs/cooking etc and the added bonus is the groundsheet is sewn in,(main living area)

Just returned from our trip, using this tent for the first time and it was great. The pitching is pretty easy, with colour coded poles and once the tent was up it was very spacious. We had some pretty bad weather, but felt really cosy inside! The living space is very roomy and the porch area is great for cooking and sitting under if it's raining. Highly recommended 10 out of 10.

Just had our first camping weekend in this tent and we are really pleased with it. Nice and spacious inside. Weather was very rough and it stood up to it very well. I would recommend this tent to anyone. My sister and her family all congregated in it with us at night and we didn't feel cramped at all. Plus mine also was half price which makes it even sweeter.

We've just got back from our 1st ever camping trip in this tent. 4 of us went and found the tent to be very spacious and comfortable with a really large living area a good size porch and 2 decent sized sleeping areas. We slept comfortably with 2 adults in each end, but we do feel that it would be tight squeeze to sleep 8 adults in the sleeping compartments. However, you could probably sleep in the main living area if you wanted/needed to as it is so large. It rained heavily whilst we were away and we were comfortable and cosy sheltering in the tent, we also had no problem cooking in the porch area which we found really useful! We loved the fact that this tent has a fitted groundsheet which made putting it up easy. (We would recommend having a practice run at putting the tent up if in-experienced like us as the instructions are pretty poor in our opinion). We would strongly recommend this tent, it is good quality and excellent value for money (got it half price from Argos.) We are happy campers!
