We have one of these and it has honestly been the best tent we have ever owned. We camp at a cliff top site and this tent has held up to the most horrendous weather. My only wish is that the doors were a bit more sheltered, though there are small canopies over the side doors.

The two bedrooms are just big enough to get a basic double airbed in. We purchased the bigger bedroom pod separately and could get a double-height air bed in that but it does cover the big window in the front door when you use this. There are so many doors in this tent that you can have open/meshed/closed/windows covered that it is virtually impossible to not find a configuration that suits you. There are even windows in the bedroom pods that you can unscreen to make the tent even lighter.

There is space at the back of the tent for storing bags/cases etc and plenty of storage pockets available. We are changing our tent to a slightly bigger one due to going on holiday with more family and am gutted to be selling this tent on - it's lovely!

Got this new on ebay for under £100, though retailed for much more.

I am told ours is a Gallileo (? how to spell) but pictures uploaded by Woodpecker shows tent same as ours, Gallileo is not on the list!

We've had it for nearly 5 years and our first trip was a rainy 10 days in Scotland.

Following this we had a very windy and wet week in Lynton and others' tents ripped, but ours survived although a little bent poles, it still soldiers on.

Its starting to show it age, from being battered by the elements, strong winds, rain and sun. We are thinking we need to seal the seams as some water came in by my bedroom after this camping trip in the Lakes.

The poles are heavy duty, so it is a heavy tent so should drive the tent to the pitch is possible!

It has survived the test of time though. Its vey roomy, there are only the two of us and dog but good for a family too.

Convinced OH camping would be good idea. Only proviso was we had to get tent we could stand up in (getting too old to crawl round on hands and knees).

Looked at loads of different ones but settled on Weathermaster for the space and headroom it offered. Considered many dome style tents but could only stand up right in middle of the dome bit.

After reading stories of disintegrating glass fibre poles decided we wanted one with steel poles. Loads of space inside, even with all the tat we take with us. Easy to erect, after a trial run at home. Now only takes 20 minutes to erect. Colour coded poles and pole sleeves on tent make it pretty much idiot proof. 5 doors, two on each side and big one on the front (handy when it's raining, just reverse car into tent to unload/load).

2 bedrooms, each big enough to put campbed in or double airbed fits in each bedroom Came with 'free' windbreak which clips onto poles. Only drawbacks are the size of the tent when packed up and the weight of the poles (must be made from bits of scaffolding but tent doesn't move when up) but as it only goes from out of the trailer onto the ground it's not much of a problem.

Gelert carpet fits nicely as couldn't find a Coleman one.

We got out tent in August 2009. .

We have the older style green one and I think we paid £199. We didn't intend to buy a tent, but it was such good value we couldn't resist and are so pleased that we did!

We used it twice last year and have just been away again.

We have 2 children aged 2 & 4 and it is perfect for us! The separate double sleeping pods mean that we can zip them up at night and they can't escape or join us in our bed! Both pods are the same size and hold a double airbed each.

The storage space behind the sleeping bit is brilliant. As space is a premium in the boot of the car we have taken to packing the clothes in Ikea bags, which squish down nicely. These then live in the back area out of the way. You could easily fit 4 or 5 in there!

We love the living area and it is plenty big enough for 2 kitchen units, table and 4 chairs, 4 people and a blanket on the floor covered in toys etc!

What really sold it to my husband (the reluctant camper) is that the tent is standing height right to the edges. No more bending down to get into bed.

It is a joy to erect and take down again. The colour coordinating poles make it so easy that even with the 'help' of the 2 children it only take us 30 minutes to pitch. The sleeping pods being pre-attached is extra handy and removes one more task. I can also pack the tent away single-handedly in dry weather (while the husband takes the children to the park etc). The trick is to do all the zips up and then pull up the pegs and remove guy ropes. The warm air in the tent keeps it erect (like a hot air balloon). When you are ready to remove the poles, unzip the front door, the air billows out and the tent gently lies itself down. Even in wet weather it is easy to pack away. It's just handy to have an extra pair of hands to wipe the water off with some microfibre towels (a new must have in our camping kit!)

As others have said, it is a heavy tent. We have never used the carry bag that came with it. I just can't lift it all at the same time! We fold the tent up nicely and then secure it with bungee ropes.

We are very much looking forward to our week long camp in August!

WOW! What can I say. What a great tent!

We had originally planned to use our two VauDe tents with an msr wing, but after listening to the weather forecast for our forthcoming holiday, we chickened out and bought this tent to possibly save our holiday from being a wash-out.

We pitched it for the first time 2 weeks ago in the pouring rain :( It was raining so heavily that pools of water were forming on the top as we lay it out on the ground.

It was easy to put up, with even the bedrooms already in place and once erected we got inside it and it was perfectly dry!

We were a party of 2 adults, and 2 children (12 and 13 year old boys) and 2 dogs, there was plenty of room for all of us, and our stuff,(4 chairs, table with cooking stuff on it, two more small low level tables to keep bits off the floor, and 3 stackable folding crates for food and bits, AND a double dog cage!

The extra (hidden) space behind the bedrooms was fantastic for keeping 2 large holdalls plus dry coats and shoes, towels etc that weren't in constant use.

The versatility of this tent is amazing - we've had numerous tents over the past 5 years, but never quite found one that suits ALL our needs, but this one is absolutely perfect.

Our first two days of the holiday it rained constantly, but we were completely water tight and creepy crawly free!(others were not so lucky).

Ventilation was excellent, many different variations to choose from and it was so light and airy, even at night it wasn't pitch black inside. The tent colour for this year is predominantly pale grey with black trim.

Being able to sit inside with all the sides up but the mesh sides down kept gnats at bay, and because the mesh is black not white, you still feel like you are sitting outside. This will be perfect for Scotland next year!

There is a special zipped hole at the front at floor level to fit a coleman battery operated cool air fan that we can't wait to buy for next summer, but everywhere had sold out this year :(

The tent came with a matching windbreak that was excellent as well and clips on to one of 4 poles so you have choice as to where you put it as well, or you can pitch it independantly, comes with 3 square widows with drop down curtains if you prefer privacy.

The people camping next to us were so impressed with our tent and it's versatility, that they rang back home and reserved one for when they got back!(a bargain at £249 instead of the rrp £499 at go outdoors.

As mentioned in previous reviews, when packed it is quite big, so, we took it out of the bag and simply re-rolled the tent slightly 'flatter' and it sat easily behind the dog cage, and the poles were packed separately, which made a huge difference.

We are going to buy the Coleman Event shelter (with doors and sunscreens) to complete the outfit now. I can't wait for our next camping trip.

I would definitely recommend this tent, I am sooo glad we bought it 10 out of 10 for sure!

FANTASTIC tent. Just spent two weeks in Cornwall and the weather was dreadful, storms, high winds for 9 out of 14 days. A lot of other tents were flattened and some thrown in the bins but the Weathermaster stood up to it all with no problems at all. It is easy to put up and take down. The tent is roomy and light with 7 windows and 4 side doors and a front door/awning.

I have no idea what the small opening at the side of the front door is for.

It is an ideal tent for a family of 3/4 any more and I think things would start to get a bit cramped.

If your looking for a tent that lives up to it's name then look no further.

Only had one trip so far with the Weathermaster at the British GP in 2008, however, it was a doodle to put up and take down. There was some wind and some of the lesser tents had dropped overnight but ours was fine. I bought it at the end of the 07 season so its the older green one without the fan vent but for £170 it was great value. This is a heavy tent but you aren't going to be backpacking with it. I'd recommend it without reservation.

Used this tent in August 2008 and have found it to be great. I put the tent up by myself, with some help from my 14 and 10 year old! It is really easy to put up and took approx 30-45 mins. The space inside is great, I use the two bedrooms and tried the windbreak, but site just too windy! Managed to take down just as quick and got back into bag easily - mind you I keep the poles separate, as the two together are just too heavy for me to carry. Family of 4 would find this tent ideal

Fantastic family tent, we bought ours new in may 2007 it came with free windbreak and 1 double and 2 single sleeping bags it cost 349.00 but has been worth every penny and we have used it about 8 times already!

It is very easy to put up and pack away it has colour coded pole.

The storage space at the back of the bedrooms is brilliant, helps to keep the tent living area tidy.

We have used ours in really strong winds, A Hale storm, Snow at Easter 2008 ,torrential rain, thunder and lightening storms but have also had some use in the beautiful sunshine it certainly is the weathermaster!

Our carry bag has not lasted very well though it has ripped along one of the seams and one of the wheels is falling off!

Looking forward to our next camping trip in November.
