This tent has provided us novice campers with warmth and shelter for the only 2 camping trips that we have so far experienced, and I am pleased to say that (although we have little experience to base a comparison on, having never camped in another tent before) this tent has not given us any reason to lament buying it and has been a good first choice for us.

In fact, despite a little shaking and moving, we are proud to say that it has withstood some severe winds on a hillside in Cornwall and, more importantly, it has kept us dry in the accompanying rain!

It's not too difficult to pitch, taking my husband and I approx. 30-40 minutes, is spacious inside, you have full head height, there are enough windows to allow sufficient light in, and the vis-a-vis style offers a degree of privacy that some tents (which have sleeping compartments side by side) do not afford.

There is some condensation inside the tent first thing in the morning but this is something that can be easily overcome with a few armfuls of kitchen roll!

The only downside is that this model does not have an associated footprint, carpet or extension to buy if one so wishes, so we are having to do extensive research on the internet to try and find these other items from other ranges, and hope that we find some that may 'fit' this tent.

Overall though - a great tent, would highly recommend!

This is our first family tent,2 adults 3 kids.We bought this as it was roomy and value for money. We found it spacious and warm, it withstood a very windy, rainy night in Flookborough this weekend with no leaks or broken poles and only took us 1 hour to pitch. I am sure we will get faster but we are novices.

Bought this as our first tent to house 2 adults , 3 kids and a dog, easy to erect took two adults 30 mins brilliant size, 2 kids shared a room with double airbed and 2 sleeping bags, elder had own room, two adults in room on other side with double airbed which left loads of room at bottom of airbed for storage of clothes, food ect, large living area is great.

One very rainy night we had dinner and played monopoly in comfort while others were squashed in their less generous tents, only problem was in bad weather inside of tent became wet and we had to dry with towels, but this may have just been condensation as we did have a heater on and rain was torrential so didnt worry too much about this, on the whole really happy with this tent , plan to use it again this year.

Bought this tent as we were going camping for a week and wanted plenty of space (only 2 of us). It it very roomy nice living space and handy to use the smaller bedroom as a dressing room :-)weather was quite changeable in Cornwall but the tent stood up quite well, the only downside being leakage of the seams over the main living area when the wind was fierce and rain relentless. Overall a nice roomy tent for a fair price

Have used this tent 3 times over the last two months. Is is easy to put up, it takes 1 adult and two children ,all under 5'2', about 40 minutes. Not quite so good at packing it away, find it quite difficult to roll up and had to use bag from old, larger tent to fit it in.

It has experienced the full range of British weather and had no problems.

The smaller bedroom tore at the stitching the first time I used it but that might have been due to children jumping in it! Have sewn it up and had no further problems. Some of the elastic loops used to peg tent down broke but used the cotton loops instead and did not seem to cause a problem.

Spent a week away with 2 adults, 2 teenagers, a 5 year old and a dog! Found it had enough living space even when it rained and we were stuck inside.Bedrooms not quite as roomy so put one of the teenagers in pup tent to sleep!

This is the 5th tent I've owned and it is the easiest to put up. Very happy with it.

Excellent tent, great value for money plenty of space and only takes about half an hour to erect, easy to take down and pack away. The only reason I gave it 8 out of 10 is because I haven't used it in the rain yet!

Our first tent - so didn't want to pay a fortune. Very good size. We survived all extremes of weather on our recent camping trip, only problem was a slight drip on the toggles that fasten up the windows/doors etc which we will keep an eye on longer term (although we did have some serious rain!). Easy enough to erect. Would recommend as a good value starter family tent.

We bought this tent as we needed a quickly erectable family tent for weekends. It took a little longer to erect than stated even though we had had a practice run. Loads of room inside with good standing room and light. Stood up to wind and rain with no problem. The quality of the material didn't give great confidence though. The smaller bedroom pod was rather stretched at the sides which resulted in tearing at the stitching.

I bought the licata 600 a couple of weeks ago. I have used it once up to now. I found it very easy to erect about 40 mins. Very roomy excellent head room plenty of windows. The weather was terrible rained non stop all sat night and most of the following 3 days. Very happy to say the tent inside remained dry as a bone.

Would recommend

We've now used our tent twice. Found it very easy to put up, only taking 2 people 40 mins. Have 2 small children, so we all sleep together and use the small bedroom for storage. Plenty of living area and good head room. Had mixed weather on both camping trips and up until now the tent has stood up to all weather which has been thrown at it - would defo recommend to anyone wishing to start camping with a family.
