I *think* this is the 2013 model - I certainly bought it in August 2013. Reasons for buying? Height inside combined with lowish weight and a reasonable hydrostatic head. I managed to pitch it pretty much on my own with minimal help from my kids - I did need them to hold the poles upright while I was pegging out the first guys. It's HUGE inside, the bedroom as always is a tight fit for four but was ideal for three of us with airbeds; the living space is immense. I'm 5' 8'and could stand upright and touch the ceiling with the flat of my hand if my arm was fully extended, so bags of room and loads of room for our stuff (which was good; we camp without a car so stuff is kept in piles).
It does *not*, despite the description given here, have an integral groundsheet for the living space, but a bucket-style separate one, which pegs to the ground and clips to the sides. Works amazingly well. The bedroom does have an integral sheet.
Pros:
Size. Huge.
For a 2000 mm hydrostatic head I was amazed how well it stood up to torrential rain and high winds all night. When I got up to check on the guy ropes in the wind, I stepped outside the tent and the water, I kid you not, was over the tops of my feet and my pyjama trousers were wringing wet in seconds. This went on all night. There were no leaks. The groundsheet was dry as a bone inside, too.
I was also very impressed how well it stood up to the winds, especially in view of the fact I hadn't anticipated them and had pitched it (on a coastal, clifftop site) sideways on. Oops.
Cons:
I think the straps between the pins for the poles on each side (designed to stop it being pitched too low or too high) are not all the same length, which meant that the bedroom sat slightly wonky, the side door when pegged out wasn't completely flush with the sides and the angled sides before the front door were impossible to get taut. Irritating rather than anything else, but for an otherwise great tent, it was a pain.
On balance - great tent for £130.

A little mjealous after reading about the upgraded version with fully built in ground sheet and the option for one large room but have to say this tent is a dream to put up single handed and good size internally.
Have had some trouble with zips but other than that has been reliable.
Like the windows and the choice of 3 doors - in a field where the wind changes direction apparently every hour on the hour this was particularly useful!
Prefer the old black and grey colouring too - would probably replace with very similar at the end of this tents useful life.

We have several tents. We purchased this one as it is compact to transport, sleeps 4 and is roomy and easy to pitch, ideal for weekends away. The sleeping area with sewn in groundsheet easily copes with the 4 of us with our luggage, and the lounge area is just about big enough to fit a table with 4 chairs and a cooker stand. The curtained windows in the lounge make it light and airy. The groundsheet in the lounge part is simple to install and is best described as a detached 'bucket' groundsheet i.E. It has a 4 or 5 inch vertical edge around the perimeter, except for the part that tucks under the sleeping compartment. It was fine in the gales and heavy rain that we experienced in 2009 near Warwick Castle. We have larger tents by Cabanon and Outwell for longer stays and also a smaller (Eurohike Stour) tent for less people, but for 4 people for a weekend break, this is the one we take.

Like others we bought this with a fairly good discount at Millets. We have used it twice in variable weather - rain has been no problem but this is not a good tent in the wind. Very difficult to put up when windy and unless you invest in some better quality pegs be prepared for it to collapse on several occasions.
The worst feature of this tent however is the groundsheet in the main 'living' area, which though big tends to be freezing cold at all times because of the large gaps between the ground sheet and the sides. I am debating using some velcro strips to try and minimise this as no matter how you position the groundsheet/sides there is always a large gap. There are some hooks to attempt to bridge this gap but they don't work and 2 have already snapped off.
Having said that the tent has some good features - nice windows and a side door as well as main front entrance. There are loads of pockets inside too which is handy and you can easily stand up in both areas. Worth the money we paid for it (about £65) but certainly no more, and if we were buying again we'd shell out for one with a fully sewn-in ground sheet.

Bought one this year and have used it a few times already. I've found it very easy to put up (once I understood that 'colour coded' meant grey or black) and have put it up single-handedly twice, with no problems. It's been through torrential rain and kept us dry inside. It's quite spacious. I have camped in it with my two children and we had oodles of space in the bedroom section.
To me the downsides are that when you open or roll up the doors after it's rained, it's difficult not to let the floor get very wet. Also, I think it might be quite draughty in cold weather as the groundsheet isn't sewn in. I couldn't avoid having fairly large gaps between the groundsheet and the outer. (Maybe this is my fault and I didn't put it up properly!)
I think it's fantastic value: I paid £69.99 in Milletts and would happily recommend this to others.

We have recently just bought this tent from millets in there tent show for a reduced price of £98.00. The rrp was £249.99.
MODEL- eurohike Sandringham 4 berth 2010 (green and black)
PACKAGING - the tent is packed away in a green bag that has sewn in, instructions on the inside. And the tent will pack away back in its bag neatley and comfortably afterwards with a small amount of room to spare.
ASSEMBLY - I put this tent up with my partner who's not exactly the best at putting up tents. First attempt it took 40 minutes but this greatly reduced down to 20 mins the following time and that was in windy conditions.
The instructions sewn in the bag are basic and could really do with a little more info. But there is enough info there to get the tent up smoothly and next time you wont even need the instructions. The fly sheet placed on the ground then 4 colour coded poles are inserted. The poles are inserted into a ring n pin system that is secured via an in built web strapping. You slowly lift one pole at a time insert into ring and pin, bend into shape, then peg down and move onto the next pole repeating this process until all 4 poles are up.
Next insert the bedroom pod which is secured via toggles all the way around and also can be pegged down if desired. Then we went back outside and placed the rest of the pegs in and secured the guylines. Next you can have the option of having a groundsheet in the living area or not. This is again just placed in via toggles and d rings all the way around and the pegged in a few places from the outside.
NICE FEATURES - the inner bedroom pod can be left in for next time. There are some large storage pockets in built on the front of the bedroom pod which are good. There are also numerous in the bedroom. The bedroom has a dividing curtain that can be removed so its one large bedroom or 2 small ones. 1 side door and one large front door with windows and curtains.Living area is very very spacious and I can stand up all the way round and inside the bedroom (6ft tall). The groundsheet folds up the side of tent so blocks wind and also can be unfolded in doorways at the same time!
DOWNSIDES- tent pegs are cheap and no good for hard ground so expect to replace (only a few quid for some decent ones anyway). Living area was quite cold around 10pm but we could solve this with extra tarp under our tent.
All in all this tent was excellent value for money. We used the bedroom for 2 people which had a double air bed room either side and a large changing area, with room for clothes and tv and table. The living area was excellent and very big plenty of storage space and living area at the same time (table 3 chairs bbq coolbox rest of our kit, 2 hammocks and this only took up about half the room). Were looking forward to our next trip in a few days and I will take a few pics of the tent and upload for everyone.

This is my second Sandringham, The first one leaked at all seams. There is 4 of us and the tent a good size. It does not have a fully sewn in living area ground sheet. This I feel a bit of a con. If you look at the pictures at millets it looks like it does but all you have is a ground sheet which is not the best of fits. Apart from that plenty of height inside and large sleeping area which can be split into 2 rooms. Ok for 4 if you can sit out at night not so good if a rainy day.
Would I buy another? Yes if first time camper who wants to try camping on the cheap. Next purchase would be a bigger tent with sewn in ground sheet

We have a 2007 grey and black model with 2 separate bedrooms which we used 1 for sleeping and other for storage, it was easy to put up and good in general.
The drawback we found was the groundsheet wasn't big enough and let in small animals at night and left it draughty so we're going to get a bigger groundsheet.

Got it from Millets for £99, great value for money. Can confirm that the bedroom can be split in two with the vertical divider.
Good door/window options, handy storage pockets, no waterproofing issues and pretty sturdy.
My only criticism would be the horrible crackly noisy material the groundsheets are made of, wish it was a bit 'quieter'.

We picked this up in the Millets sale 2007, halfway through our holiday in August 2007 to replace a small 2-man dome tent that didn't cope with the windy cliff top conditions. The Sandringham is fab, spacious living area, we fit a fridge, camping table and chairs and camping kitchen still leaving room to get to the bedrooms. Having 2 side doors gives lots of options when pitching. We've found it easy to pitch, the only downside is I can't find a porch to fit. I see the new model has a removable divider, ours is the older one with separate bedrooms, so we chuck the luggage etc in one and sleep in the other. Would consider getting the Buckingham next time for extra room but similar layout for a great price.
