We've owned and used our Gelert Stratus 4 for about 8 years now. It as always performed well in all weather conditions.

The bedroom area is a good size (we only camp as a couple) and there is plenty of room in the living area. We find the tent easy to put up and take down with just the two of us.

We have just used our Gelert Status 4 for the first time after purchasing it from the Range. It was an ideal size for two adults and one teenager and was easy and quick to put up and take down. We had glorious weather so am unable to review how watertight it is - but will certainly be looking forward to using it again.

This tent was bigger than anticipated. 2 adults and 1 dog and all our kit fitted very well. Nice to have the choice of which awning to open. Vented doors to bedroom so didn't get too stuffy and hot. Easy to put up with just the 2 of us. Pretty easy to take down especially if its been raining.

A lovely light roomy tent perfect for couples.

We have just been away in the Stratos and have no complaints whatsoever. The weekend we picked it was bucketing down non stop and we still stayed very dry. As for the living accommodation there is plenty of room for a small table and chairs plus all things that were needed for the kitchen setup. And again you are not spoilt for which door to use as you have a choice of three and with the extension poles the use of the canopy keeps away the drizzle.

Just bought this for weekends away, £40 on ebay what a bargain cos its as new!Had 2 one nighters and a windy 2 night stay away in it so far and have no complaints, its easy to put up and down and has plenty of room for 2 adults and stuff. Have not tried this in the rain, but it stood up very well to strong winds.

A great, affordable tent which has taken us on 4 family holidays so far, ranging from 1 night to 10 days! It's easy to pitch - with outer first - bonus in not so great weather, and can be up and ready for use within 20 minutes. It's a reasonable sized tent and is ideal for us - 2 adults and 1 child, for any more than that it would probably be a bit too cosy.

The bedroom area easily fits a double airbed and singles airbed without touching the outer walls, and has a sewn in ground-sheet which I think is essential in a bedroom areas.

The living area is big enough for us to sit in during the evenings and either play a game or watch a DVD with our 2year old. The ground sheet here attaches via toggles and would be better if sewn in completely, but it's not that much of a big deal and actually made it easier when we added the canopy.

To expand the living area - to be able to cook under cover in wet weather etc, we bought the Vango Icarus 500 canopy, which whilst it's not built specifically for this tent, does fit very well and afforded us much needed space, without having to fork out a lot more money for a completely new tent (see photos I have uploaded).

In very wet weather this tent has kept us dry and cosy and in warm weather has kept enough heat so that during the evening it's ok, though we also hook up to mains to keep warm at night.

The bag it comes in is big enough to not have to worry about packing it away in exactly the same way as it came. It is also compact enough to not take up tonnes of room in your boot. Overall a great tent and would recommend!

Easy to pitch, plenty of room for the two of us and the dog not sure about 4 people. Just about enough height to stand up, would have been better with a few more inches and a sewn in ground sheet as theres a bit of a gap at the bottom. We have over come this by sewing velcro round the bottom and making a type of detachable mud wall. We paid about £85 for ours so good value. Good overall tent, ideal for weekend get away

Easy to pitch, mainly because the poles are all the same length and as it's a tunnel tent it's easy to get it square (wind permitting of course).

The poles could do with being a bit stronger as we had 2 split in windy conditions. Apart from that it's very weatherproof.

It has plenty of room for only 2 of us, just about tall enough and plenty of room for bags and things in the bedroom, if you don't want to clutter up the living space too much.

It is without a doubt the best tent I've had yet.

Our trusty 15 year old Lichfield Heron finally gave up the ghost during torrential rain and gales force winds while staying at Anderby lincs. The owner of the site suggested a replacement could be found in Ingoldmells or Skeggy so we headed off to look see. It was either get a replacement or come home. After a quick look in Argos (cheap jack) and Halfords (we aint got any in stock, do you need a roof rack) we went to BEC in the town and got the only 4 man available. Size wise not bad at all especially as only my wife and I will be using it. Plenty of room for all our gear table cooker etc. Not too bad to assemble either, (it was gale force winds at the time) but we managed quite easily. The only thing I noticed was it is a cooler tent than the one we had before. Not purchased through choice but now we got it we have come to the conclusion that it will do quite nicely. :)

This was our 1st camping experience in 30yrs, brought the Stratus through researching the net. Once we figured out about the pin system it was easy to put up. Made a mistake the first time we put it up and had it as wide as the tension straps would allow, that meant we were stooping inside, then a fellow camper told us that we didn't have to have it so wide and hey presto we could stand up in it, 5ft10 being the tallest. Fab tent slept 2 very well and our GSDX dog Monty. Cant wait to go away again, it also withstood a very bad night of rain and wind. Very happy to recommend this tent.
