I love this tent and it is easy to pitch single handed. It withstood 48 hours of constant rain during the Jubilee weekend with no problem. One big plus point for me is that it does not have a built in groundsheet - except for the sleeping area. This means if you have to come in from pouring rain you do not have to stand in the doorway removing boots and then mopping up pools of water. The sleeping area is snug, especially with a Tilley lamp going. I do not lend this tent out as I want to keep it forever!

Brought secondhand on eBay, had not been used by original purchaser so as new. I'm a seasoned camper and full of praise for this tent. If I were to better it I would have to buy another. It has stood up to some severe winds and rain storms in grand style. All frame tents take time to pitch but this one is so easy, pitched on my own after slight problem solving. Spacious inner tent for 2 or 3 people. Well guyed with very good ventilation built in, why did Khyam stop making them ?

200 Tourer- what a great little tent. Bought ours in July 2004 and up to now have had 83 nights in it. Big enough for me and the wife to move around in and fit in the comforts of home, and the sleeping compartment has sufficient room for our lilos and holdall. With plenty of head room there's no need to stoop. Erected and fitted out in 45 mins we can't see us ever changing from this great little tent

Bought our Tourer 200 in 2007. Very easy to set up, space wise it's classed as a 3 berth but we've only used it for 2 people. I guess setting up differs between folks, It takes us about 5 minutes to put the tent up, Pegging out, Ground sheet and inner tent is about ten minutes or so. I then sit down with a beer while wonder woman sorts out the rest. Lol. Just put our one up for sale as the grand kids want to come with us and we need a bigger tent, as for the Tourer 200 probably the best buy we have made in the tent world and the new tent will be another Khyam only bigger.

Very spacious and very comfortable for two. Needs a car to carry it. Very well made. Takes 30-40 minutes to set up with two people. Would not use it if staying only one night somewhere but for a few days or a couple of weeks it's a spacious home from home. Recommended if you can find one, dont think this model made any more (May 2010)

We've just traded our trusty Tourer 200 in for the Classic XL. The Tourer 200 is a fabulous tent, very easy to erect, even in some wind. I can put it up solo in around 25 minutes, including a groundsheet. I like the oversize bag, makes packing away dead easy. It is a little heavy for non car use, but I have cycle camped with it, you need a trailer for this, though.
We have loved ours, it never let us down and it's only a 13 week old camping newbie that's forced us to trade up.

Like has already been said, this is a WOW tent!
Mrs Slug and I had had it up in about 45 mins the 2 times we have used it so far. North Yorkshire at the end of November in snow and high wind was the last time we used it, and I've got to say we love it.
We don't seem to find it as easy to put up as most but we must just need more practice. It's an absolute bugger for catching the wind when you are putting it up or taking it down, so just make sure you use the guy ropes like the video says and all is well.
Once it is up it is without doubt the DADDY of 2 man tents. It stands up to big wind and very big rain (even a little snow. ) without any issues. It looks about as aerodynamic as a brick which makes this even more impressive JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE THE GUY ROPES.
PROS:
Loads of sleeping space, we actually reckon this could be classed as a 4 berth tent.
Rapidex pole system works well and feel sturdy.
Rock solid once it is up.
Very warm with no draughts (if set up correctly as mine wasn't the first time)
Massive living area that is gazebo sized rather than 2 man tent sized.
Loads of pegs.
CONS:
Large and heavy when packed. (car use only)
Rapidex system will have your wife tying little bags on joints when you just want to pack the tent and go home.
Tricky to put up when the wind is up.
Loads of pegs.
OVERALL:
I love it. (I can pull my pants on stood up in the middle of the night for a pee)
Mrs Slug loves it. (She doesn't get woken up by a grown man hopping around and tripping over guy ropes at 2.00am in the morning trying to put his pants on)
We will still use the Tornado dome for one nighters or bike trips, but for anything else this is a great tent.
A tent that is massive for 2 and is tough to go with it.
If I can get to grips with the rapidex erection system, I'll give it a max rating. Until then I'll just give it a huge thumbs up for the obvious quality of this tent.

This is a WOW tent, I have been all over Europe in this and spent over 80 nights in it. Its great to put up 45 minutes solo is the fastest, and is very versatile. It is structurally sound and bends its way through the most severe of weather, and can take the worst of a deluge ( proven in a 24 hour wash out in the Black Forest this year ). You can stand up and move around in it, safely cook in it and use it as your home. I love it to bits and I aint going to change it.

First the porch poles do fit in the bag which is great as everything fits in (so nothing to forget).
Erection with all the pegging out takes awhile but can do solo (female!) Stood up to a night and day of heavy rain and strong wind without leaks.
Great tent.

By: John Howard Norfolk Reason: I've used one Made in: 2007 Rating:
The porch tent poles are too long for the tent bag! In fact the tent bag is also too wide and baggy for the main tent so it is very difficult and awkward to carry.
The tent itself is very easy to put up and has a huge living area but it will be too difficult to transport and store to justify keeping it. I am returning my tent.
