I bought mine used a couple of years ago and have spent a good few weeks worth of family holidays in this tent.
We are only a family of three so used one sleeping area for a bedroom and the other area was used for changing and keeping stuff out of the way. The space inside is great and with the separate porch area it was easy to keep the tent ventilated while keeping bugs out. We only had one occasion where water got in but that was from trying to pitch when the heavens opened and water leaked through the bedroom vents before we had time to get the poles in so definitely our fault and not the tents.
It can take a while to pitch and peg out thanks to the numerous guy ropes but packing away has always been quite simple and even though the bag is quite snug its gone back in first time.
Positives - Stability, separate porch area, internal space, wheeled carry bag.
Negatives - Weight (its steel poled so going to be heavy), the numerous guy lines.
All in all a great tent that we enjoyed owning.

We've used this tent now for several summers. We got it at the end of a season, and it was already the previous year's model, so we got a really good deal, including free footprint and carpet and a half-price porch extension.
With a few minor caveats, we love this tent, and will be sad when it finally gives up the ghost.
It could do with more hanging loops, and a slightly bigger bag - but it's big, cosy, and strong.
The porch extension is strongly recommended- we use ours as a cooking area. We've added a proper tarpaulin groundsheet in the porch area, which really helps keep the high-traffic area in good condition.
We'd also strongly recommend the carpet- makes the inside much cosier.
We've accumulated the usual range of rips and tears, but it soldiers on.

This tent is well loved, been lots of places around the uk, I like the layout and space and even with two teenage daughters in tow, you still have space. The downside is the weight of the poles however the tent has withstood some very bad weather and not let us down at all. The tent is large and whilst easy to put up, not so easy packing it away. If you can find a good one second hand it's a great tent for families.

I don't think you could get another tent as good as this. It has excellent living space, room for a table and chairs.
Four good sized bedrooms. Storage pockets.
Porch area which we use for cooking, food preparation, keeping the fridge.
Just brilliant.
Dread the day we have to purchase a new tent.
PS not sure about the date tent made.

We love this tent, we have used it all over the UK and in all weathers ( storms as well as sunshine) and it has never let us down. Large living space, great headroom and great for 2 adults and two teenage girls, need I say more!? I love the front porch to use as a kitchen. The only downside is the weight of the poles but thats the sacrifice you make if you want a sturdy tent

We've just returned from 10 days in a stormy Isle of Wight in our ebay bought Nebraska XL! What can I say. What a fantastic tent. Family of 5 of us, 3 young children.Absolutely loved it and had acres of room each! Even after 4 yrs in storage its totally waterproof, really easy to erect, extremely spacious and stands up to 60mph winds!
Only downside I can find is the weight of the kit when all the poles etc are bagged. I can't really find fault elsewhere. Lots of storage capacity, hanging pockets etc, plenty of ventilation, great porch area for dumping muddy boots/bikes or for setting up a kitchen and storage area.
As long as you get some heavy duty pegs, this tent will not move and you won't be out banging pegs in or hanging onto your luggage at 3am in a wet windy field!
Highly Recommended - pick one up second hand thats been well looked after and you're in for a treat!

I bought this tent last year second hand of Preloved. It had only been used once and came with an unused front extension. Having only previously owned tents that lacked sewn in groundsheets and were much smaller, this was absolute luxury. With only myself and 2 young children the space is fantastic. Two double airbeds at one end and a walk in wardrobe and toilet at the other! The central living space is huge as the cooking area is in the porch at the front. Add to this the extension and you have a tent that has acres of room. I have now got the time down to 20 mins to put it up (on my own) a bit longer to take down, mainly due to getting it in the bag. If you can find one second hand it's a great tent.

Love it - large, roomy, great main area ceiling height, easy to pitch and we can now get it up in around 20 minutes, another 10 minutes on pegging out! But with the tent up at least we can unload the kids and car. Carpet is great to but we wish now we had bought a side extension but you live and learn. Lots of large windows and ventilation flap thingys. Guide ropes are fluorescent green so easy to see and there is a electrical hook up entrance flap so you can close all the doors and not have a cable trailing through one of them.

Love this tent in the cold and wind - its solid and doesn't move, can take it on a cliff top and when all the other tents are nearly collapsing this one stays upright due to the metal poles. (the only drawback to this is the weight)
With the sewn in ground sheet it keeps the draught and animals away from your living area.
And it has lots of windows to keep it bright during the day

I love this tent it got us over that dreadful August 2 years ago. Out of the 6 tents [our camping friends] we were the only ones dry and still standing. Sid have fine mist come in, resealed it soon as got dry but the last time May 2010 it dripped just above reflective seam, waited til dry again and re-seamed it. Going next week, be sorry if it hasn't worked cos this tent is huge and we've had 8 people in there for 2 wks hols 3 times a year since had it, really spacious
