Bought this tent at the end of last year, and am using it for the first time at the moment. The wife and I put it up, and had it fully pitched including pegging out in about 35-40 mins. It´s now been raining hard for the last 2 days, and theres not a drop of water to be found inside the tent 5*****. Loads of room to sit with the dog, and look out at the wet Dutch country side. All in all very impressed with the quality, and would recommend this tent to anyone who wants to start camping on a Budget,

This is my first tent and I love it. A fab family tent at a very afordable price. It seems to be a cheaper version of the Outwell Montana 6 but I have had no fault with it at all and it has bags of room and feels very sturdy and secure. I didn't realise until I became a camper the kind of snobbishness there seems to be around the kinds of tents you have. I've only ever heard great things about this tent from its owners and bad things about it from people who tell you that it's ' an ok starter but you'll want to upgrade to a better modle' or ' Germans do good cars but not sure about tents' or ' don't trust a retailer who sells on eBay'. I'm sure people have had disasters with all sorts of ' premium' brand tents as well as cheaper ones, but so far it's been used in awful conditions on numerous occasions with lots of children tripping in and out of it ( yes the only slight downside with a seawn in groundsheet!) and it's lived up to the test beautifully. The only downsize is that Skandika don't do extensions but the Outwell Montana front porch fits and by the looks of things the hi gear oasis would too but I'll keep you posted. Until then we attach a great bit blue tarp in front as a cooking area which works nicely

Have recently rediscovered camping and decided to upgrade our tent to this monster (there's only 2 of us that use it!) It was easy to put up and take down and took us just over half hour but think this may come down slightly with more use. Love the sewn in groundsheet which stops the bugs getting in. Loads and loads of room and can't find any fault at all. Comes packed in an extra large bag with a toggle so there's not any struggling to fold down tiny to get it packed up after use which is always a bonus!

Bought this tent second hand off ebay for 150Pounds. We took it to Australia and lived in it for 3 weeks. We had very hot days to EXTREME windy and torrential rain some nights. After a few days of taking severe battering from stormy winds and rain only one seam leaked a couple of drops. Went to a campshop and got tape sealer and that cleared the drips. We can only rave about this monster of a tent. It can take all weathers. The only issue I have is that the end door doesn't have anything to keep it open once it is zipped open, no poles or hooks to roll it up. I think it must be a factory mistake, but then again, we always only used the side doors.

Bought this tent early in 2011,Overall very please with it. Used it for a couple of weekends and a week in Yorkshire before a two week stay in France. Very easy to erect and so much space. The windows are great too. Massive headroom, even in the sleeping area, able to stand up straight and I'm 6ft.
There were a couple of small issues when I first put it up There were many loose threads on the end of stitching runs, all about 6 inches long, I ended up trimming these and one of the zips on the front door had the glider fitted upside down. This meant that when both gliders were at the bottom the right hand door was open and the left closed.I unpicked the top of the zip, turned the glider around, job done. Skandika were great about it and refunded the delivery charge.
Still a great tent and I'm very happy with it.

Recently purchased, cannot fault, very easy to put up and take down, loads of room inside, pleasure going camping now. At one stage stood back and watched my significant other half putting tent up herself, so so easy, living area gives the space to actually live, great, envy of other campers on site with plenty of comments as regards where and how much ! Rained first night , no problem to us , in fact a breeze .

Excellent and would recommend.
I bought this tent of Ebay in Aug 09 for our trip of touring France, what a bargain, paid £240.00 brand new. Lots of space, easy to put up and to take down.
The inside of the tent is very comfortable. The living space is very spacious (we like to take the kitchen sink).
Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 very bouncy dogs (Border Collie & Lab Cross) as well as room for guests if they wanted to come with us. The sewn in ground sheet is great no bugs invade your space and stops the draughts. I would highly recommend this tent for families!
Was great in a storm, no rain got in and no bent poles along with no rips or tears….Even with stood the worst thunder and lighting I’ve ever seen.

Love this tent! easy to erect & take down, had 3 days of heavy rain & winds while camping last week, no problem at all with this tent. Only 2 of us so it feels as big as a house. Definitely recommend to anyone. Does anyone know where I can get the tent extension from (blue)? (the outwell Montana 6 footprint is an exact match!)

Fab Tent. Really easy to erect. Stood up to strong winds and very heavy rain. The living space is huge so need to buy some furniture to put in it. The bedroom space is big too with a dividing curtain.
Plenty of vents and large windows which have roll down curtains.
I made a footprint/groundsheet to go under the tent to protect the SIG and for extra insulation. Also helps to see where you need to place it for the side porch.
I would of given this tent 10 out of 10 but when it's raining you can't have the front porch open as the rain comes inside. You have to use the side porch. I shall be looking for a suitable extension/porch for the next camping trip.
Overall a great tent. Definitely recommend.

Bought one and put it up my self - with no practice or knowledge of tunnel tents in about 20 mins to half hour. I did forget to undo the rear upper guy rope, it was then out of reach so never pegged that one down, also didn't realise the bag of guy ropes in the box were to be tied to the eyes on both sides of the tent, I just pegged 4 corners and the vent flaps and thought that was it, until the next day when I saw a similar tent pegged out and sussed the extra guy ropes.
It is nice and dry in rainstorms and has handled the wind it's been in so far. Very roomy living area, it's a great tent and I'm glad I bought it!
I would recommend this tent to friends.

Manufacturer's Description
Offers a very large living space and complete insect protection for living and sleeping space. The sewn in tent floor offers many benefits:
No rain water entering, since the tent floor and the outer tent are tightly sewn together and sealed. No pests and no insects in the living and sleeping areas, since all openings are fitted with mosquito netting and screens. Pre-assembly provides for very quick set-up.
Many lovely details such as the magazine holder and the cable bushing are evidence of the outstanding functionality.
The living space has a floor space of more than 14 m². Enough room for 6 people! And so high only the very tall will have to worry about bending or crawling. The many doors and windows allow plenty of light to enter the common area. The windows feature air-permeable mosquito netting at the top and transparent PVC at the bottom. This clever combination ensures the interior is always breezy and bright.
Breathable inner tent material - ideal for allowing fresh air in. And this means the tent has an ideal climate in all weathers!
Extra resilient water column.. A tent is considered waterproof even at 1,200 mm (47.2’’)! The Milano model offers 5,000 mm (197’’)! A miracle? No!- just miraculous PU-coated polyester! This also makes the tent UV-resistant and especially storm-proof.
