We bought this tent last year after a lot of research and visiting tent displays to see what would work best for us. We have three children and now a dog too! This tent works brilliantly for us and after our first camp in torrential rain it certainly lived up to its reputation and kept us brilliantly dry and sheltered. It has really good ventilation too as our second camp it was in the hundreds (talk about one extreme to the other!) but again it was superb. This year we have invested in an awning just to give us even more space but haven't camped with this yet so we'll see how it goes. We use the side door area as a built in toilet tent after 3 trips to the campsite loo in the dark on our first trip and shut it away in the day time. The only downside if any is it's not the lightest tent around but even so were still more than happy with ours.

Camping family for 5 yrs .I can not fault the Monty 6 we have been to local sites to further a field , the you tube video is a must to watch as it made the whole pitch and pack away so much easier. It's a real upgrade from our last tent. And worth every penny. We have just purchased the awning , to which has given the Monty for us as a family a whole new meaning of camping for longer periods of time, great space . Only one hitch and I don't no if my heavy handiness was to blame , struggled with the side porch door the you pole snapped as there was so much tension trying to place it in the black holders, wonders if any one has had same problem. ?? Love this tent and would highly recommend to anyone .

Excellent tent, much easier to erect than our previous tent (Outwell harford xl), takes around 20 mins + pegs with 2 people. Sewn in ground sheet makes this tent suitable for all seasons. Bedrooms will accommodate full size airbeds. Living space is huge. This tent will comfortably accommodate 4 people (6 if living space is used). If you want a tent with large bedrooms & a huge sized living area which is very easy to erect then this is the tent for you. As with any new tent be sure to have at least one trial run before you go away!

Have had this tent for 1 year and used 3 times. Easy to erect in around 30 mins -see Outwell video on youtube - and packs away to holdall well (with practice). I'd recommend erecting rear panel first and pegging down, then walking forward with front and pegging out again before placing poles in middle section. Plenty of space inside, and optional extras such as the carpet, makes it feel like home from home. This tent is quite bulky with holdall for tent and separate bag for poles. This tent is very sturdy and has weathered very heavy downpours and wild winds when others campers had packed up and left on hearing the weather forecast.Although this is our first tent and we are relatively new to camping we'd have no problem in recommending this tent to other campers

Have only used our tent once since we bought it at the end of September, so impressed with the ease of putting it up . And taking it down & packing it away in a hurry when the weather forecast turned bad- just takes a bit of thinking about first- . Dogs loved being in the same space as us & all of the fresh air. As first time campers this has been a bit of a revelation

This tent is definitely our home from home. A spacious living area and adequate sized bedrooms. The bedrooms themselves advertise for 6 but that doesn't factor in inflatable mattresses so we only manage to get 5 in on two doubles and a single. This is a very stable tent when fully and correctly pegged out. It is heavy and comes in two bags, the poles being in the second. A spacious boot would be needed but we take a trailer which gets everything we need in. There is a pitching video available on the internet and Outwells own site. We use the side entry porch for our camping loo and use the front entrance for in and out. We have found that it can condensate on some occasions but has never leaked and it's due for a waterproofing spray. It says to pitch with more than one person but it can be done alone with proper care and pegging out. The electric entry point is next to the side door which can be a little restrictive - one on both sides would have been better. There are accessories that you can get such as carpet, extension, porch all of which are good additions except the porch - it's only any good in as a shade from the sun as rain blows in from the sides. I'd be tempted not to hang any lantern type lights from the holder - ours snapped under the strain after only a few tries. All in all a good tent and good value for the money - should last a while if cared for

We have used this tent for about 12 holidays since we bought it as first time campers. It has stood up to wild weather, teenagers, festival sites, exposed seaside sites and everything else we have thrown at it. It works very well for a family which includes adults who are not natural campers. It is fairly easy to put up, has lots of room for living as well as sleeping and is very very waterproof.

It is very bulky and heavy so a big car with a big boot is very helpful - particularly as with all the space inside it is tempting to bring loads of stuff - even the kitchen sink!

It has more or less convinced me I like camping - which is amazing!

Spacious and cosy with carpet and extension. Love the new green and brown internal colour scheme, extremely useful inner pockets for keeping all those little bits safe and tidy. Bedroom pods spacious, fitted our kingsize aerobed and the two kids intex double height airbeds with a bit of trial and error. The little side porch is ideal for shoes and dirty washing, and maybe porta potti. Looking at getting the awning as we may use the original tent for sleeping/dressing quarters, with the awning for general living and the extension for cooking/eating. Will be a monster of a setup!

Unfortunately this tent was a huge let down for us and didn't even get used in anger, on a trial run in the garden we noticed the overall lack of quality control that had not been carried out on the tent in 3 places stitching looked incomplete, 2 of the plastic connectors for attaching the tent to the poles were missing completely at this point it was put back in the bag and taken back to the shop where a full refund was given, I was advised by a friend who had similar issues with his Outwell Florida that the quality on some Outwells was not the best but learnt the hard way.

The Montana 6 tent is fantastic. It looks good and the porch is very handy for storing wet boots and coats. It is very stable and managed to withstand very strong winds when other tents around us were being torn or blown away. There is plenty of room for a family of 4 and the sleeping areas are cosy and warm. There are handy storage pockets in the main living area and also in the sleeping areas. The kids replacement bedroom is great too. We also have the extension but have never used this because we did not need the extra space!
