We bought this tent second hand a few months ago, it was about 6 months old. I have always wanted one as a weekend tent. We have only managed to go for one night so far.

After a couple of practice runs in our garden we managed to pitch it. It is a dream to pitch and goes up in about 10 mins which is very impressive. You have to make sure that the ground sheet is pulled out flat and peg down the 4 corners. Then just insert the pole in the middle and peg out. On our trip with it we found it took longer than our practice runs, I think we were aware of doing it right as people tend to watch you pitching.

The layout is perfect for a weekend tent for the four of us or a longer stay for two. I am not sure I would want to stay longer than a weekend in it if my daughters were with us. We have the two windbreaks which work really well at extending the outside living space. This allowed us to sit out even when it rained. The inside is very cosy and the sloping sides really added to the overall feeling of being in a proper tent.

We haven’t tested this tent fully, but I am looking forward many trips away. Also I hope to be still using it when the kids have left home and it is just the two of us.

So to conclude I would not change anything about this tent. We love the style, quality and layout.
