I would just like to update my review of this tent, in my previous review we had used in fair weather, and we have been very lucky over the summer as we have taken it away about 10 times so far, and been extremely lucky with the weather - until 2 weeks ago when we went away to a week to the New Forest, again weather brilliant, however we did have 12 hours of uninterrupted heavy rain, and the result dry as a bone! well done Coleman we love this tent! We have no complaints with this tent :)

I own the 2011 version with the Zip on the bottom 3000 hydrostatic. This tent is my dream.
After more than 12 years in the British Army as a Chef, while working in the field, pitching and striking a 12x12 at all hours and times, the coastline 4 deluxe takes me 1 hour at the most to erect single handed.
There is a problem with condensation if you close the Cool vent, however, very happy with my tent.

I bought this tent last year (2010) and have used it three times now.
Overall it's good value for money although I do have to agree that the opening at the bottom of the door did cause a few minor problems when it was windy. Despite trying to hook the door down in the middle (from the inside of the tent) it came loose during a particularly windy night, the door then flapped inside the tent and all of the rain ran down the door in to the tent.Coleman really could do a bit better with this aspect of the design. Appreciate that it needs to be ventilated, but it could be a lot better!
All said though, a good all-round tent which was good value for the money.

Fantastic tent for the price. Very easy to pitch (found it easier than our Vango). First time of use we had gale force winds and rain, the tent stood still and dry but the Canopy zip came undone.
Our Coleman tent had a bottom zip unlike others in there reviews so we had no problem with a the tent leaking or letting items in.
We have just returned from Devon in hot dry weather and had no problem with condensation (unlike the Vango).
Love the tent and am more than happy to keep on using it. Spacious enough for us two and our two dogs and all the other stuff you need for a long camping trip.

Brought this tent to downsize as only two of us and the dog. Easy to erect spacious enough for two, good in high winds, down side tent windows leaked badly at first due to a very rainy day,no zip on door bottom does let in drafts cured by putting spring clips along outside of door along the bottom and the base, leaving a gap one end to enter and exit freely at night on the whole would recommend this tent for summer use has a canopy extension which works very well.

We wanted a spacious tent but small enough when packed to fit in my MR2 this tent reaches all my expectations. Plenty of room for 2 of us and storage.Went away last weekend it was very windy the tent was stable when other tents poles snapped and others had there corners ripped away from the tent pegs. We highly recommend delta ground anchors.

Bought our tent last year, however never got to use it until this weekend. We have had a large tent in the past and wanted to downsize as just the 2 of us and the dog, this seemed perfect. It lived up to this when we went away for a couple of nights, although the weather was kind to us, I can only reflect my review on this. Dry as a bone all weekend. When we put up the bedroom pod was pulling a bit on the zip, moved pole & adjusted guy and fine! felt rather cozy at night, This is marketed for 4 people, but we bought it for 2 and is comfortable for 2 no more! We didnt have an issue with door our previous tent had no SIG and we pegged the door on our old tent did the same with the Coleman and again ok.Will need to see how it holds up in the wet & windy weather. Watch this space!

We have used this tent about 4 times this year and have mainly been very happy with it. Ours came with the large porch which was great, we put windbreaks round it and it made an extra living area. The door not zipping along the bottom worried me at first but we put a pole through the loops at the bottom and that kept it from flapping and the draughts out. We found it reasonably easy to put up once we had done it a couple of times. One problem we had was we bought the footprint ground sheet which covered the whole length including the porch, this was ok until we had rain and then the noise of the dripping from the sides of the porch onto the groundsheet and the floods on the groundsheet soon had us roll it up and decide to only use it under the main tent. We had what felt like gale force winds and very heavy rain one night, the tent held up fine but we did have leaks along the seems at the side of the tent facing the wind but the weather was extreme and I think it wouldn't have been a problem normally. We like this tent overall.

Bought a Coleman coastline deluxe 4 in may and have used it 5 time this year. No problems with the first 3 then we got some strong winds in august at shell. They was 32mph winds but the canopy detached itself from the zip twice, then the guideline ripped off the front of it tearing the canopy.Good with the wet weather but remove the canopy if your going to get some strong wind.Could put it up in about 40 mins and the main tent is quite sturdy in the wind. No leaks in heavy downpour for 2 full days.

All the previous comments are generally spot on. The biggest issue appears to be the omission of a full zip on the door. If it is pegged down correctly this is not a problem. I used this tent recently in a high winds/rain (strong enough for branches to come off trees)and it held together perfectly. A very well made tent and thoroughly recommended
