I wrote a good review about this tent back in June, I have to review again! We went on our main holiday in august following our trial weekend in June. There were 50mph winds on our second night and in the morning all SEEMED well! The next day was very windy, and when we returned from our day out one end of the tent had collapsed due to a shattered pole and several tears had appeared. We managed to fix the tent. The next day was also windy and the poles had finally had enough and were flexing so much that the tent was nearly flat and the seam between the groundsheet and the fabric was coming apart in several places. The next day it rained and inevitably it leaked, so we finally gave up and got the last ferry from the I.O.W cutting our holiday short. We left the tent behind (with the permission of the campsite owner) as I never want to see it again. I appreciate the weather was terrible for August but Coleman sell it as a tent for ALL seasons.

Huge tent. Took 2 of us approx 30 mins to put up, instructions were very vague, but we finally got there, id advise practice putting it up before setting out on your trip. As mentioned before, there are no zips along the bottom of any doors, but they can be pegged down quite easily from inside, and we found that no problem. Even with all the bedrooms erected, there was still lots of space inside the tent. Our very first night ever camping, we had terrible winds and heavy rain, I spent most of the night up and down checking for leaks ( cos apparently new tents CAN leak on a first wetting )and I was surprised to find the tent stayed both warm and bone dry, even around the windows and doors. We had no problem with rain/wind blowing under the doors as we pegged the centre down. If I was to grumble about anything, it would be that the tent can be too hot, so we kept the port hole open at all times, even during the rain. We paid £200 for this tent and had a porch thrown in so I think it was well worth the money.

I thought this Coleman would be a good tent, but I was wrong! The size is great and easy to put up, but that is where it all stops. I don't know if the other reviewers had rain while they camped, we did! Above all 4 of the windows the water was dripping in from the double seams! So, if you are going to camp where it doesn't rain at all, go for it otherwise stay clear.

Having looked around for a while, we decided to buy the coastline 8 deluxe. Really impressed by the interior size, we've spent a long weekend in it up to press and found it easy to put up, and very comfortable. Spending about 10 nights in it real soon and the family, 2 kids and us are really looking forward to it. We got a nice deal with footprint, carpet and sun canopy from don valley outdoor camping shop all for £299.

Very spacious. Lots of options on setting out the inside. Used for the first time in early June, soon put to the test with a thunderstorm. Held up well. Overall myself, partner and two children were very pleased. Only issues is the fact you have to peg down the doors to secure fully, so obviously you have to do this from the inside which can be slightly awkward and to have the end door open you have to take a bedroom out

Great Tent. Can be a little cumbersome to put up yourself and the instructions are not great. Once up its huge with plenty of space and height. If you put this up at least once before you actually go camping you can get then hang of it quickly and finish within 30 minutes.
Lots of accessories for this tent too. We went with the big front porch. Continues at the same height as the main tent and is well held but still acts like a kite in the wind. Would also recommend the battery powered vent fan to keep air circulating on hot days.
