We bought this tent for our family of 5 and are completely delighted with it. It is heavy to carry around but its very sturdy when up. There is loads of space in the living and bedroom areas and the awning is great to provide shade in the sun.
It does have a lot of guy ropes which take a while to peg out and adjust and I can't see us ever using the ventilation flap in the door way as the extra guys would just give the children more to trip over.
We have the carpet and it makes the tent feel very luxurious and comfortable.
It took us a while to get up but I am sure that this will improve with experience and practice.

Really easy to put up with 2 people and I think could be put up by 1 person. As 1 review says it does have a solid feel thanks to the internal cross bars. We had very windy weather during our stay and the tent was fine. Plenty of space for the 3 of us and would easily accommodate 6. The sewn in groundsheet is great and makes it a lot warmer in windy weather. The bedroom compartment can be separated into 4 and 2 by a zipped divider. The design of the walls is more upright giving a lot more usable space in comparison to other tunnel tents we looked at. Zip entry for electric hook up on both sides of the tent as well as velcro retainers for cable for a central electric light. Built in canopy is also a brilliant addition. We looked at similar tents that were much more expensive for very similar spec. We are very pleased with this tent and would recommend it to anyone.

I took delivery of this tent, just before the Royal Wedding, for a long weekend away. The tent is really easy to put up, even in high winds, which it stands up to surprisingly well. The living room area is big enough for 6 comfortably, although the sleeping area is a bit tight when kit is in the larger room as well with 6 sleeping in the tent. It really suits 4 better, 2 adults and 2 kids.
I purchased the ground sheet and carpet for the tent and can highly recommend these, as they really make the tent warm and comfortable.
The porch is big enough to cook in and shelter you from the wind and rain.
The quality of the tent is good, nice and water proof and it has a solid feel to it (don't ask about that last comment, just trust me, it does).
All in all a really well thought out and well made tent that I would recommend to anyone who's looking for that extra bit of space and a bit of comfort while camping.

Just back from our first trip out with this tent and was very impressed with it. Bags of room inside including in the bedroom. The living area is huge so your not squashed in when the weather turns nasty. Table, chairs, furniture, a fridge and still room to move about in. Loads of features and a very large porch perfect for cooking and dining under. The windows let in loads of light but it can get very hot inside so with 3 doors your need them open.
Took 2 of us about an 45mins to erect but this will come down the more you use it. There are tension buckles all over the tent which help you loosen things off for erecting.
For the money you get loads of tent, it comes in 2 bags as the poles are separate. These are quite heavy but give the tent a rock solid feel. If I was to have one pop at it i'd say the bedroom end of the tent could have been made from a darker fabric. This would stop the bedrooms becoming very light early in the morning. But that is just a suggestion and about the only thing I can say or think could make the tent perfect.
All in all though great value for money, rock solid, packed with features and 10 / 10.

Brilliant family tent. Just back from 2 nights, 2 adults and 3 kids. Loved the outdoor porch for cooking and watching the kids playing out in the rain ;-) Had fairly heavy rain and wind at one point but the tent was solid and dry. Well built and easy to put up. First time we've used it and only been camping twice and took us just over an hour.
Fantastic value for money and can't wait to go away again.

Kampa Croyde 6
After much tent searching we decided the tent for us was the Kampa Croyde 6.
We were also looking at the Outwell Montana but went for the Croyde as it seemed to be just as well made & better value for money and it has a built in canopy.
On our first trip we managed to erect the tent in about an hour.
The tent & poles are actually quite heavy at approx 40kg, I can imagine some people struggling to erect it.
The tent is so roomy having previously had a Cabanon frame tent which was brilliant, but now we have so much room & with the fully sewn in groundsheet
No wind whistling in underneath - fantastic & much more cosy.
The bedroom spaces are excellent, with pockets to store bits & bobs.
There are also storage pockets on the front of the bedroom compartments which is very handy
The living space is very light with lots of windows & 3 entrance doors
What I like about the tent was with the large door open & the canopy you felt that outside but were nice & warm, very welcome in the Cornish weather in August
You can very easily cook under the canopy which is a plus point
We had a few problems with the footprint which was not very good quality, so I emailed Kampa direct & they could not have been more helpful & duly exchanged the footprint for the new much better quality one (make sure when buying a footprint you purchase the Croyde 2010 one not the previous years Lulworth one which is of inferior quality).
Overall we are very pleased with the Croyde & would recommend this tent
* Brilliant value for money
* Excellent customer services by Kampa

Fantastic tent. Previously owned a smaller tunnel tent without sewn in groundsheet which leaked in bad weather. Just got back from 10 days camping which included long periods of torrential rain and high winds and the tent performed brilliantly. We are a family of 5 and having the option to open up to one big bedroom worked particularly well with space to spare. The canopy was used regularly and was a major reason why we upgraded. We purchased the carpet and were glad we did. Would highly recommend to other families. Quality and price make this second to none.

We are new to camping and had no idea what we wanted from a tent so we borrowed a small Eurohike tunnel tent from a friend. After a few days in it and looking round the campsite we were on we quickly decided we wanted to be able to stand up, have plenty of living space for when the weather turned and a canopy for shelter when cooking if the rain started.
This tent ticked every box but seemed to good to true for the price. We took a risk and ordered it online as there were no retailers near us that stocked it for us to view. I took the risk as all the reviews I read were 100% positive, some people comparing the quality to Outwells without the price tag and one reviewer mentioned that when taken down at the end of the season after being on display in a campshop all summer, the Kampa brand stood up particularly well to UV damage.
We were in no way disappointed, we absolutely love this tent. It took about 45 mins to get up, but we took our time and it was really straightforward - considering we have no previous experience. It was sturdy and spacious and definitely the social hub for our camping party when the weather turned. Buy it, you won't regret it, fantastic!

I brought this tent last week and have used it for past 10 days while on a camping holiday. We have had mixed weather with 2 of the nights continuous rain for over 11 hours a time. This tent is fantastic in keeping out the rain and wind and keeping the family warm. Was really impressed at how easy the tent went up taking my husband and 14 year old daughter an hour to put up with no problem at all. It came with instruction booklet which was not needed. Still cannot believe this tent is under £300 to buy for the excellent quality. The space inside is very roomy, the only slight quibble is the larger bedroom was a squeeze to fit in for 4 children. Could only fit 3 single air beds in it.

This is a brilliant tent. Just returned from using it for the first time and I am absolutely satisfied with it. The front canopy is a real plus and we found that it automatically became the socialising space for adults in the evening. I would recommend buying the purpose made carpet - this made it really comfy for the kids. During the holiday I looked around the site at other people's tents and was reassured that I'd got one of the better one's from a design perspective.
It comes in 2 big bags but then again it's a big tent!
If you're after a spacious family tent then this is ideal.

Inside you’ll find a large inner tent that, if required, can be divided into two bedrooms by using the zipped privacy curtain. This inner tent has loads of storage, both in the interior pockets and also in the organiser built into the front. The upright front wall allows full use of all the interior space and you’ll appreciate the generous headroom that gives and impression of space. The front of the tent is protected by the large built-in sun canopy that you can shade under on those sunny days and as it’s an integral part of the tent it is more sturdy and less fiddly to set up unlike those add-on canopies.
