We just got back from our first holiday with our new Hayling 6, did have a little trouble with one zip which was found to be broken when we put the tent up, which we done in about 50mins which was not bad as I am 71 and my wife is 68, however, we did find condensation was a trouble for us, we could not use the netted door the way it should be used. We found the other door, which can have the bottom flap up or down to walk out better. Been campers all our life and found this the best tent we ever had both to be in during bad weather, did only have to put seam seal on a few places. We camped for 22 nights in Oct at Beddgelert a forest site, we have Hock up, so do cooking in side, also have 2 dogs, over all we are very happy with the tent.
The company we got the tent from, are going to pick up the tent and replace the broken zip. So we know our next holiday going to be even better. We go about 3 times a year for 22 nights each time, always go to a forest site, we like the walks for the dogs and us, we both try to keep fit

We bought this tent for our first ever family trip. We had a practice run in the garden putting it up following the instructions and it took about an hour.
Then after watching a video for putting up a similar Kampa tunnel tent online, we put it up on our first trip out following the online method (peg out 4 corners, put in back pole first and work your way forward) and had it up in 25 minutes. Back home and putting it up to dry out, we did it in 20. Easy!
Loads of room inside for us and 2 under 5's, I don't think there would be enough room for a family of 6 myself though. We got 2 double and 1 single airbed in, no way there was room for another though so max sleeping using airbeds is 5. However with just 2 doubles there would be space for clothes etc.
The windows let in loads of light and were easy to cover for privacy at night, the side door has a separate mesh so it can be opened for air without letting the bugs in.
The front door doesn't have this and I think it would be a good addition - on a hot day we would like to keep bugs out without having to shut the door. PLus the front door does not zip or velcro at the bottom - my toddler could easily crawl through this gap even after we had zipped and pegged the door - it wasn't a concern once he was in bed as we could put the bedroom door zips out of reach, but a pain while we were getting ready and he kept disappearing.
The bedroom pod is one, with 2 doors and a divider which hangs up in the middle to make 2 areas, but as it hangs it is not 'solid' round the edges so not very private - not an issue for us but if it was 2 couples camping it could be very cosy!
The built in canopy is excellent and partly why I wanted this tent - I sat under here cooking dinner in the rain and stayed nicely dry. Overall very happy with this tent and perfect for long family weekends away.

Just come back from my first ever camping trip using my Kampa Hayling 6 which was very good value for money. Reasonably easy to pitch and no headaches considering first time. I would have given 10/10 but took one point off as the main front door does not fully fasten at the bottom and my rather annoying dog would just push his way out and use it as a dog flap. The other thing was the main front door does not come with a flysheet either and would have been really nice to sit inside with the door open for a breeze but keeping the flys and bugs out. Other than that she did us proud. :)

Just been on our first trip with the Kampa Hayling 6 and was very pleased with this tent. Its very easy to pitch approx 30mins and there is plenty of room inside. The side doors open for easy access and let the breeze in when it gets warm .The porch at the front was where we placed are cooking area and was nicely sheltered from the wind. All in all an excellent purchase .We cant wait for are next trip .
