We previously had a 6 man dome tent that, although OK, we couldn't stand up in (a real issue for my 6 foot 3 husband).
Considered the Outwell Vermont last year but never got round to buying it (mainly due to price).
Spotted the Kampa Lulworth 6 on the website of a local camping supplier and when they finally had some in stock (and one on display), we had a look. The tent seemed to be exactly what we were after;
6 berth (one larger bedroom for us and a smaller one for our 2 year old son. The wall between the 2 bedrooms unzips to create 1 big bedroom. Also important for us!).
We bought one the same day and took it camping with us that weekend.
It took us less than a hour to put up (not bad for a first time) and the tent was very sturdy. (we did have the old tent with us.Just in case!)
The only problem we had was with the interior side poles; one of them had metal burrs inside which stopped the 2 sections from fitting together so we had part missing. My husband will sort out the burrs before our next trip.
We has a night of rain whilst camping and the tent held up well to that. Can't comment on high winds yet.
We paid £299 for the tent with no extras and we feel that we have got a real bargain of a tent.Very high quality and exactly what we were after.

I bought one of these this weekend - and what a bargain. £365 for the tent including carpet and footprint.
We were initially going to buy a Montana 6- but realised it was only worth buying if you bought the extension and carpet. That took the price up to around £600 for everything - more than I wanted to spend.
The initial batch made by Kampa had production issues and was sent back to the manufacturers - which is why we had to wait to get this. Nearest rival is the Outwell Arkansas but this is over £200 more for the same package and is slightly smaller tent.
* I put it up this weekend in the back garden and the quality is excellent. I tested it with the hose and no leaks on any seams.
* The material is very high quality - and is in fact the same as the Filey 5000mm and not 3000.
* First time to put up was a bit arduous - but effectively a very similar design to other frame tunnel tents like montana. Once you get the knack I expect 30-45 mins.
* The bedroom clips in - but I'm sure that you can leave it installed. No issues with fitting or stretching like some other tents.
* Footprint does not have eyelets as noted on Filey - so does not seem the best quality.
* Vents on each side window but not on front ones. Also a large vent at the back of the tent for the bedrooms.
* Mesh doors on side ones but not front door ==> I find this a bit strange as surely this is a better location - as the areas is covered? Maybe the reason for this is the central front door does not zip across the bottom - it overlaps neatly over the SIG which sticks up about 6'.
* Front porch area is fantastic - and this is not included in the Montana
* Light hook, Cable entry included
* For some reason there was a load of extra poles included- which is clearly a mistake in the packaging. But everything else was there.
Overall this is a bargain family tent if you don't want to spend overinflated prices in 2009. Quality is extremely good and has many good basic features included. Ventilation is certainly adequate - but maybe could have been improved with a vent on the front of the tent or is this being picky? You don't need to buy an extension as this is included.

Manufacturer's Description
If you’re looking for a tent with loads of features then look no further than the Lulworth. It’s packed with ideas to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. The tent has the Kampa Sealed Groundsheet System (SGS) to keep the weather and bugs out and the warmth in. Inside you’ll find a large inner tent that, if required, can be divided into two bedrooms by using the zipped privacy curtain. This inner tent has loads of storage, both in the interior pockets and also in the organiser built into the front. The upright front wall allows full use of all the interior space and you’ll appreciate the generous headroom that gives and impression of space.
The front of the tent is protected by the large built-in sun canopy that you can shade under on those sunny days. As it’s an integral part of the tent it is more sturdy and less fiddly to set up those add-on canopies. If not required, or in stormy conditions, it can simply be stowed away. The Lulworth has a stable type front door and two side doors, both with a built in fly screen and one has a canopy. To help keep your tent cool on hot days and provide a better view out, the Lulworth has two zip out widows, both of which also have built in fly screens. The Lulworth is available as a 4 berth and a 6 berth.
