Have used this tent for family trips and found it very easy to put up. Very sturdy when pegged out correctly and kept out the wet. Yes GADGETGAL the partition is removable in the newer models. Got two teenagers and slept four fine.

I currently own the grey/black Sandringham tent which we purchased in 2007 and have had some fantastic holidays in. We think it's a great tent but now have a 7 month old baby and the issue of the 2 separate bedrooms is a bit of a problem. I am thinking of buying one of the newer green Sandringham tents because I was led to believe that the sleeping area could be made into one large bedroom. However, someone has told me that this may not be the case and the reviews here are a little conflicting. What exactly is the 'inner tent partition' that is referred to on the Millets site? Although it's now disappeared from their website!
I'm hoping that someone who owns the newer model can clarify this for me before I go spending out my well earned cash. Thanks

Just to clarify comments below. I think there are two versions - the black/grey and the green. I too have the black/grey one (which I think may be older model)- it definitely does have two separate bed compartments, and the groundsheet is not fully fitted as it seems to be in the green version.
Great tent though - we use it for two of us with 2nd bed as storage. We've been able to get a table and 6 camping chairs into the communal area on rainy days!
Easy to put up and a pleasure to stay in, whatever the weather.

We owned a small two man tent, which me my wife and kids 2 & 4 went away in last year. Upgraded to the Sandringham in April 09. Super tent JanetX's review is not correct it has a divider but it can be clipped back to make one room. Idea if you have small children and you can give them their own space in the years ahead. If you have 2.4 children look no further for the £££ its great.

I bought this tent in April 2007, I am a single parent with 3 children and have no problem putting it up on my own. It is very spacious and plenty of head room in the bed pods. If you want a tent that is not too expensive go for this, my kids and I have spent many a good weekend in this.

Just a quick word of warning if you are after a tent to share with very tiny children, as we were. This looked like a perfect family tent and we were all set to buy it.
The Millets brochure implies the adjoining bedrooms are separated by a divider, but they aren't, they are completely separate. Depending on your needs, this could be fine - but for us, with a curious toddler and a baby still having the odd night feed, we needed to be with them but have the option to sleep separately when they are bigger - you can't do it with the Sandringham, but can with the Buckingham.
The Millets brochure can be quite confusing regarding the set up of bedrooms, so do check they are as you expect!

This is a great value family tent (2 adults 2 children) which is easy and quick to put up and take down. I've pitched a few tents and had no trouble puting this up in 30 minutes on my own. Add some time if you are not used to this type of tent.
Just 4 (colour coded) poles and some pegging out and done! As mentioned in the review the tent comes in a very sturdy bag which it goes back into easily, we even had room to include our windbreak. The usual cheap pegs are included which are fine for general use but bear in mind these will be difficult to get into hard ground without bending.
Plenty of living space for camp kitchen, table & chairs and a TV table and 2 good sized sleeping compartments. 3 openings giving adequate ventilation. Ours is black and grey but we were offered the green version (wife didn't like it!) All in all a great easy to use cheap tent - highly recommended!

We bought one of these last year and used it during a very wet and windy week in August in Dorset, it stood up to heavy rain and wind very well with no leaks or damage the only small point being that the supplied (6') pegs are no good for soft, wet ground so we had to buy some 10' ones.
This tent is supplied with a sturdy 3 compartment case with permanent instructions sewn in, its stated berth is realistic, however we used the second bed pod as storage it has 3 door/canopy options and we also used the optional canopy and windshield and encountered no problems with those either all in all practical, good value and nice to own and inhabit preffered last years colours though!
