A very useful addition ,as you can store shoes etc and use it for cooking under. The sides can flap about a bit in strong winds as they are not very taught and the wind can get under the flap that goes over the tent and do the same.T he ring pins are very tight to fit in, as the aluminium poles don't flex like fibreglass ones. Ours leaked due to pin holes in the fabric, but was changed by Tag Outdoors without any problems. The HH is only 3000 not 5000 (all Horizon products changed to this for 2009?). In the heavy rain we had in Wales it kept inside the tent dry and mud free.
