This is the second tent we have purchased as a family. I have always camped as a child in large frame tents. Our first purchase was a cheap disaster off ebay, never again.
This purchase was researched more and seen 'up in the flesh' at a store then purchased. It is so easy to put up and really roomy.
I can not remember the exact price we paid but I think it was £99.99, which I think was excellent value. It sleep 2 adults and 2 boys (10 & 7), all on camp beds, and a large Labrador comfortably.
The 'living' area is surprising large and fits all our equipment including table, chairs & cooker.
Head room is more than sufficient. Really good and recommended 'starter tent' or 'weekend break tent'.

This tent was our first purchase for 2 adults 1 child opps and the dog. Ideal for a week-ender tent but when the weather is bad, little room inside to keep a 5 year old occupied. As we've accumulated more equipment we've just purchased a larger tent

An excellent choice - especially if there's only two of you. As others have said it would be rather cramped with more than two and the head room could do with an extra couple of inches but otherwise it's brilliant.
My daughter and I first camped in this tent for a week during May bank holiday half term 2008 when the weather really was atrocious-very heavy prolonged rain and gale force winds. The tent rocked about a bit and one guy line needed three pegs to stop it coming off but the whole thing remained firm with no leaks. Condensation was a bit of a problem but considering the camping field was doing its best to recreate the Somme it's no wonder! It was most impressive.

Great tent, bought this after it's predecessor got damaged in Beddgelert, and needed to get one for that night, so decided on something with a bit more room.
The canopy is great for sitting out of the drizzle, and the sleeping area is HUGE for two people and a dog! The storage/living area is great and big enough for a folding table with all your dinner stuff.
Surprisingly easy to put up/take down and never a problem packing it away. Happy to recommend.

We bought ours for a weekend tent as the Lokon Vario 6 is too big to put up just for a couple of days use. We were pleasantly surprised with the Stratus 4. We used it for the first time for a weekend this September. Arrived at the site quite late on Friday evening just as the light was beginning to fade but the tent was quick to pitch so was up before it got dark. 3 of us fitted in easily and there was ample room in the bedroom for a double mattress and a single mattress. The height was not too bad, were not 6 footers so we were able to stand up without stooping. There was also enough room in the living area for the camping table and 3 chairs along with the usual bags of clothes etc. For 2 of us, we would be quite happy camping in it for the week if we did not have the Lokon Vario 6. The Stratus 4 is a very nice tent for the price. We also liked the tent bag, which is a single bag rather than the large flat 3 compartment bag our Lokon 6 comes in. The bag is oversize so the tent went back in no problem.

Bought this as a 'starter home' as my husband had never been camping and so didn't want to spend too much but, wanted a reasonable size so not to put him off. Camped once with my sister but decided the head height was too low for a 6ft-er and gave it to her for Christmas and bought a Sunncamp Vario 5. That said, the Stratus was quick to put up - even as the first ring and pin tent we'd put up - and seemed cosy. Only drawbacks were the headheight and no separate front porch (other than the door panel). Why do so many 'modern' tents (I did most of my formative camping years 20+ years ago in a canvas frame tent)lack this basic but valuable feature? They keep the rain out as you open it and, give you somewhere to sit whether it's rain or shine. Manufacturers take note! But all in all a good 'first timer'.

As our first tent this has been a solid choice, it has never let us down and the weather proofing works brilliantly, there are no leaks or weakness in the structure so I can say. We love our tent, it sleeps the two of us comfortably, along with all the gubbins I make the other half (who's slightly more hardcore than myself)drag along.
The Only faults I can find are the groundsheet can be quite time consuming to get perfectly flat and straight, and as others have said it does require you to bend your neck a little more than is sometimes comfortable, however the fact that the three doors open allows for you to be outside wherever you have pitched.
They also offer a great deal of flexibility, for example, when the wind becomes strong we simply opened the other side of the tent and put the car there to protect it from the full force.
All in all a good choice, if you're looking for a well made sturdy and reliable tent,(not to mention not one of the worst looking out there) the Stratus 4DLX is a good choice.

This tent sleeps us four, 2 adults and two children well. Admittedly we only use this for weekend camping, as we have a larger (Cabanon Biscaya 440) for longer breaks.
Two double airbeds easily fit in the bedrooms, with our kit and kitchen equipment in the living area.
All three doors open on the DLX model, which is great, if it is drizzling with the front door propped open water tends to drip in, from the guy ropes. This is not a problem if you open a side door, as the guy ropes are in a different place.
The ground sheet is great and even in cold weather the bedrooms are snug.

A great tent for a great price. We only paid £84.99 for ours! It's easy to erect and sleeps the 2 of us very comfortably. It would take 3 people, but 4 would be bit of a squeeze.
The porch area is big enough to fit all our gear including our cooking equipment and a table and 2 chairs. It rained on our first outing, but no sign of any leaks at all. Head height is good, but could have done with being just a little taller, but not really an issue.
A relatively light weight tent for it's size that does exactly what we wanted it to do and at a great price to boot.

Its excellent. We sleep 2 in it and have bags of space for mattress, bags kit etc. Nearly tall enough for me to stand in (5'9'') and with a big front section you can sit and cook in if it rains.
Makes camping a pleasure. I would not say its as comfortable for more than 2 people though as you could not get 2 double mattresses in the sleeping section due to it not being rectangular.
Only reason its not a ten is that its not quite tall enough - another couple of inches and I would not be able to fine fault with it.
Obviously as a tunnel tent its not as stable as a dome in really bad weather but you have to be really committed or unlucky for that to be an issue, and even then its not a problem, just not as stable as a dome.

An easy-to-pitch, fantastic value, 4-berth tent with headroom throughout. It features three 11mm fibreglass pole sections to form a simple tunnel (it can't work out the theory of relativity) shape, a sizable sleeping compartment and a large 2.3 x 2.9 living/storage area. The living area also features two large panel doors which can be propped open to form sun canopies (2 steel king poles provided). There are also two windows to allow light in when the doors are closed. The tent is pitched flysheet first using the external full length pole sleeves and is aided by the pre-attached double guylines. Other internal features include a cable entry point, and a 'rising' fitted living area groundsheet. The flysheet is 190T fire retardant polyester with a PU coating and fully taped seams providing 2000mm of hydrostatic head protection. The living area and inner tent bedroom groundsheets are polyethylene.
