We bought a Gelert Tahoma 6+ after borrowing a friends gelert tent last year and reading some reviews online. I must say it is absolutely fantastic! It was easy to put up (even for inexperienced campers like us!), and it was easy to take down and pack away. The tent has large living space with huge head room (even my husbund could stand comfortably and he's 6ft 6'!)and the bedrooms are roomy (although 3 adults might find it a bit claustrophobic!) The tent has lots of windows and vents meaning we didn't get too hot and there were light anchor points in each room as well as a handy tent tidy for the porch.
The large porch was great for cooking in when it rained and for storing all the wet muddy shoes! While we were away we had 2 big thunderstorms and the tent held up magnificently - no rips or tears from the wind and no leaks, even the separate ground sheet in the porch stayed reasonably dry once we arranged the 'skirt' on the bottom of the porch correctly!
All round a great family tent. Well made, well designed and not too expensive. I would recommend this to everyone!

We bought this tent in early June and it is the best tent we've had. I was always wary of this style of tent due to the apparent complexity of putting them up. How wrong I was. The colour coded poles fed through easily and we had the inner up in no time. Dragging the flysheet over the top was fun in the wind but this simply hooks onto the pole straps once in place to give you time to put in the necessary pegs. The fact that you get 3 types of pegs but no explanation of what each type is for what could be confusing if this was your first tent but you'd soon work it out. Even the dog approves since the sown in ground sheet eliminates the drafts and she doesn't have to be restrained once the flaps are zipped up. All in all a great tent.

Bought this tent in winter 2007/08 to add to my collection and I must say I'm impressed. I'm an experienced camper and very picky about my tents, but this one ticks all the boxes. It's not the easiest tent to erect (especially if windy or wet), but neither is it the hardest. Plenty of living space, sleeping compartments are roomy for three and the large front porch is ideal for cooking and storage.
