Just back after camping at Faskally campsite in Perthshire with my Gelert Zenith 6 tent which we bought after a few weeks of searching. Just like to say we made the right choice as the space in all areas of the tent was fantastic and with 9 windows to let light in and organiser pocket ideal for mobile phones/camaras storage etc. Finally the weather changed after 4 days of sunshine to the heaviest rain I have ever seen in my life, fell on and off for the next 4 days while others with their Outwells & Vangos were down the shops for mops & basins to cope with the rain dripping through, we never felt a drop of rain. I would recommend the Zenith 6 to anyone looking for a spaces/ waterproof tent - made our holiday

We have just returned from our first holiday having used our new Gelert Zenith 6 tent.
Having never camped using a tent before, we were a little anxious about whether we would be as comfortable as we were used too.We needn't have worried. The Zenith is a fantastically made tent. The layout of the tent means that you have very comfortably sized bedrooms, with plenty of head room, and still an amazing size living area. At 6'5' the tallest member of our party was able to move around the tent without having to bend or stoop.
We had a bedroom with two single airbeds and a bedroom with a double airbed, and both had plenty of room left over which allowed us to place nightlight lanterns in them without them being knocked over through the night. The pockets in the bedrooms also came in useful for items such as books and p.J's when there weren't being used.
The living area in not only spacious, but also very light and airy. There is a window in each of the bedrooms, and 5 further windows in the living area, and a sky light. These windows are all covered unless you decide to open them, allowing light in,but also providing privacy. The only fault with this, is that apart from the porch side windows which you open from inside, the others windows open externally, which could be a little bit of a issue for some people.
The sewn in ground sheet came in very useful as the weather was appalling, and the campsite became flooded. This was not an issue for us, as the ground sheet rises at the front to meet the porch door, as it does at the back entrance as well. This meant that the rain simply washed under the tent and no water was able to get in.
The only difficulty we found with the Zenith was in securing the second entrance which we did not want to use. We were able to secure a padlock to the zips on the inner tent to prevent anyone from entering, but did not find a way of securing the outside opening.Which meant that although the door was closed, it was not locked on the outside when we went out for the day.
To give an example of the living space area, we were able to fit in comfortably, 8 folding camping chairs, and a folding table. This did not block any bedroom door and also did not use any of the space provided by the ample porch.
This is a beautiful looking, spacious, well thought through tent. It has the space needed to camp comfortably and all the little extras that make camping so much easier.

Manufacturer's Description
Although not having the brand cache of an Outwell Hartford or a Vango Killington, the Gelert Zenith's certainly tick all the boxes when it comes to quality and price point. The Zenith has a fully sewn-in groundsheet for a sealed internal environment and an external fibreglass frame to allow for flysheet first pitching. The fire retardant polyester flysheet offers 5000mm hydrostatic head protection. The other major features of these tents are the skylights (great for UFO spotting), multiple windows and hanging tent organiser pockets. The Zenith 6 features 3 large 2-berth bedrooms, although at 180cm wide and 230cm deep, they could accommodate 3 per bedroom, at a push. The Zenith 6 features a large 'J' porch doorway and a second, smaller 'J' door located behind the middle bedroom inner (which has a zippered access panel).
Other features include: Welded and reinforced polyethylene groundsheet; water repellent zips; electric cable access point; multiple ventilation points; pre-attached hi-viz guylines; 'slick sleeves' for easy pole threading; breathable polyester inner tents; 12.7mm, 11mm and 9mm fibreglass poles plus 2 steel porch poles.
Weight: 36.2kg Pack Size: 72x57x32cm Dimensions: (Outer) 780x720cm Height: (Inner) 195cm Colour: Fir Green/Frosted Green
