We purchased the Mojave 5 tent earlier this year. We have been camping twice in it now and we have just got back from a lovely long weekend where it rained heavily non stop for 18 hours. 2 Adults, 1 child and 2 German Shepherds managed very nicely. There was a bit of condensation built up, especially with 2 wet dogs and wet coats but we are looking to buy the porch now to avoid this from happening next time. I love this tent, it suits our needs, and is lovely & cosy.

Bought this tent 4 years ago it has been well used and I cant fault it. It's a decent enough size for 2 adults a 5 year old and a 1 year old. The tent has been well used and survived many a storm with no leaks or collasping.Always a bonus! Just got the porch which is marvelous for providing extra space for table kitchen equipment leaving the living area free for the kids to play. I own a number of tents im a bit of a tentaholic and I really do love this tent great value for money!

2nd time used the Mojave 5 (bought it last year replacing Coleman cedar creek tent). Very spacious and comfortable.Easy and quick to assemble. My only 1 issue hence 9/10 is when you open the doors when raining the water easily dribbles into the tent.Today we bought the porch which should easily fix this problem. Also bought carpet and groundsheet .All 3 at very good discount price from Go Outdoors. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone thinking of purchasing a family tent. The porch will be tried out in July .Come rain or shine.

Love this tent, Plenty of room for 3 of us. There are 2 bedroom pods - one larger than the other but both a very good size. Decent living area with enough space for table/ chairs coolbox etc .

Tent was easy to pitch and we can do it in 15 mins now. Theres only 3 outer poles which makes it a breeze to put up. The sewn is groundsheet is great and theres full mesh panels on the doors so you can have door open with out bugs coming in!

Perfect for couple who like their space or smaller families. We are going to purchase the porch to go with this tent to make the tent bigger for longer trips :-)

We purchased this from Go Outdoors and took it with us to Howarth Farm in Skyerholme. We had an Outwell Nevada 3 which I thought was the worlds best and easiest tent to put up. I WAS WRONG.

The Mojave 5 was a simple 3 pole, single skin tent which went up within 15 minutes, even though the box said 25. It was quite breezy when we pitched up but as long as you have a couple of pegs in the back, it went up like a dream.

For a 5 berth, the head height is great, the extra side door with window and fly net was perfect and sewn in ground sheet was a bonus.

I would fully recommend this tent and the Outwell is now for sale :-)

Just bought this tent and used for the first time this bank holiday weekend, with my wife who has never been camping or put up a tent and found it to be very easy to put up very spacious for 2 especially if you don't use the inner/s bought from go outdoors as a bundle ie porch, carpet & footprint would definitely recommend.

Love this tent a very spacious 5 man with two separate pods a 3 berth and a 2 berth easy to pitch only 3 poles which to be honest you need two people (only for the poles) takes around 20 minutes to pitch. Stood up to the snow and wind we had at the week-end (March 22nd) I also have the porch which I have yet to use

Bought this tent and porch this year to replace a very old 4 berth tent which was well past it's sell by date. Found it easy to put up but a bit trying when folding up in windy conditions. A very roomy tent which stood up to some serious heavy rain and wind. As a long term camper thought there was a couple of design problems. First after returning back to the tent from a day out found the wind had separated the porch from the tent. Felt there should have been more material on the porch to cover the tent to stop it separating. Not enough pegging down points for porch sides to keep it tight, have since machined a couple more on. Windows are a great idea but felt they are too deep, could be half the depth.(manufacturers take note)

Have never worried about wind direction when pitching but noticed other like tents face on to the wind direction and not side on as I was ,which may account for the porch separating from the tent. A very versatile tent for anyone needing a bit of comfort and breathing space.

Just survived a Hurricane week in Cornwall by the sea at Perranporth

The tent took some really bad battering and collapsed 3 times

It realy was not the tents fault the camp was put on Amber alert before we arrived and no one bothered to let the new guest know to expect 60-70 mile an hour winds

It did not rain in at all and it rained for England this last weekend

I am really surprised the tent stood up to the battering it took and did not either rip smash or blow away

10 out of 10 for this tent it really stood up to what was not really camping weather

I would recommend this tent to anyone

Spacious. Warm draught free and reliable what more do campers need ( though hooks for the living area lighting would of been a distinct advantage )

Cracking tent especially when used with porch. Withstood some VERY strong winds and torrential rain. Had slight defect when purchased remedied quickly by Go Outdoors. Have used it on two separate holidays now and found it to be of a practical size. Last week was spent on Manorafon Farm North WWales where 4 other Mojave 5s were pitched and all owners were full of praise for them. We had two nights of strong winds and all 5 tents coped well. We do find the porch sits a little high off the ground which not having a sewn in groundsheet does get draughty at times but does afford a great sized kitchen area leaving the main tent free

Manufacturer's Description

Easy to erect, easy to dismantle, and offering generous living space, the Mojave 5 is a great choice for families wanting comfortable, fuss-free camping, or couples wanting extra space for storage and fun.

It pitches outer first, with separate 3 and 2 person rooms that clip in to the underside.

With taped seams, a sewn-in groundsheet and completely waterproof outer layer (3000HH), you can be sure of total protection from rain and draughts.

The poles are angled to give you maximum headroom throughout the tent, so no need to stoop when you're inside. The pole sleeves have slick inners to make pitching the tent quick and easy.

In warmer weather, the breathable inner and 2 side doors with full mesh panels give you superb ventilation and allow plenty of light into the tent. The large front door can be extended out as a canopy, using the steel porch poles, offering shelter from sunshine or rain.

It has bright and reflective pre-attached guylines to keep it stable and secure, and more visible in the dark. There's also a electrical cable access point allowing you to use appliances inside the tent with the minimum of fuss.

A practical and versatile option for families, group campers or anyone who needs comfort and breathing room when out in the wild.
