We bought this tent because we have a new pup and our frame tent was too big to allow us all to fit in the car. Glad we checked it before we took it away, one of the poles' elastic had snapped so I had to rethread a pole before we tried it away from home.

The bedroom is definitely big enough for us 2 adults, 1 child and a Basset Hound, but I wouldn't say it's big enough for 5 unless you sleep on mats. The living space is a little cramped if it rains, but we do have the porch as well although it is still as yet unused, but it will provide vital extra space given the right weather conditions.

The tent is very easy to erect, only took 2 people 20 mins in total, it seems to rely really on guy ropes to keep it upright, there don't seem to be many pegging points around the base. We didn't use the pegs that came with the tent because we have a grand collection of pegs accumulated over the years, and pitched using Deltas on most of the guy ropes.

We pitched according to the conditions of the site which were fine and calm, waking up the next morning to rain and water in the tent, there seems to be a design flaw with the front door, being as we were pitched head on to the wind, the door is very wide and only has one anchoring point in the centre of it, it could really do with another 2 to keep it from blowing in on top of the SIG.

As the day progressed we had to add additional guys at the front of the tent as the wind got up and although the tent was standing up to it fairly well it was more of a precaution.

I was quite impressed with it's performance in the long run, we were at a new site and would pitch differently if we go back, there's just a few little niggles re the front door, as I expected it to be zipped all of the way round, so it would be easier to keep the puppy in, but the doors are open at the base so she could freely escape if she wanted to. The problems are all something we can work around and I would totally recommend this tent.

Just started out family camping and decided to purchase this based on three reasons, Design, Hydrostatic Head and price. The bedroom comfortably accommodated a travel cot, single airbed and a double air bed with some space left for small bags/luggage, we didn't bother putting up the bedroom divider. The living room area was big enough for our needs and we purchased the porch still yet to arrive.

The tent was quick to put up, needed two pairs of hands because of the wind (camped down at Woolacombe bay), if there was no wind at all 1 person could easily put this up. First two nights there was some rain not heavy enough to test out the boasted 5000mm HH rating, it didnt leak anyway. There were strong easterly winds around 20-25mph the first two nights down there, the tent flexed and flapped about as would any tent and with all the guy ropes pinned down I would say it was more than strong enough to cope. The tent wasn't solid but that was down to me and the father in law not tensioning up properly on all sides.

The only negative I would say is that there wasn't any spare pegs if you happened to bend one or two you would need to buy another set, on the plus side however you do get this neat device that hooks up the pegs when you come to take it all down. You also get a small repair bag with sealant glue, some outer skin patches and other bits and pieces. I thought I would have a right mare trying to take it all down and 'fit' it back into the bag supplied but this was easy enough once you folded it a few times then rolled it up. Instructions are logical enough to follow.

We purchased a carpet to go into the living room area which fits nice and snug and seems of good quality. Can't comment on the porch as that is yet to arrive but you had two poles which lifts up the front of the tent as pictured in the two pictures here we didn't bother with this because it was too windy. Can't think of what else to say other than the guy ropes are fluorescent, plenty of air circulating around the inside to keep away condensation, few windows and an extra entrance at the side which we didn't use as the little ones would just keep sneaking out and a zip pocket/entrance thingy located near the floor in the living area to put your electric cable through or anything else to the outside.

For £120 this was in my opinion a good purchase for our family and will get enough seasons out of it hopefully. Didn't give this 10/10 purely because I would of wanted to test the HH rating fully with heavy rain which we didn't get. Our next trip will be in July so will post some pictures up of it in use, have only just registered on this site
