By: Bryan_k Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2005 Rating:
This was the early version of the Kansas 8, you get all the same great features except for the sewn in groundsheet. This tent has it all; space for 2 adults & 2 teenagers to survive a wet week without committing murder, 3 bed pods (2 double 1 quadruple)(plenty of room & privacy for 4 adults), its easy to pitch & well guyed. The only failing with this tent is the underdraught & they solved that by adding a sewn in groundsheet & calling it the Kansas 8.
A fantastic tent, loads of space & easy to pitch. Has 3 large bedrooms & could sleep 8 very good friends but is better suited to sleeping 4 adults in comfort & with dignity. I Have used this tent for 2 seasons & as with most large fibreglass pole/nylon tents it needs to be pitched in a sheltered location as it gets a bit flappy in gusty weather but is guyed well & withstood summer 2007 ok .
I would have given this 10 out of 10 if it had a sewn in groundsheet like the Kansas 8.

Manufacturer's Description
Large tunnel tents give a huge amount of space for a minimum of effort but with the Khyam Indiana there is no loss of usability! Featuring three bedrooms, a large main bedroom and two smaller bedrooms a trade-off can be made between berths and even more space. Windows, door canopies and much more complete an excellent tent.
