We have this and the annexe and it's been a great tent. We have camped in some extreme conditions and it has never let us down or any water in! The only gripe is the pole system for the annexe which isn't great. Water can collect and in heavy rain it can be difficult to disperse.
It's really quick to put up and spacious inside, in all a very good tent.

I've owned two of these, the green one and the red, both models were very robust, but the small upgrades that were made to the newer model (green) we're appreciated.
A very sturdy tent, we camped for a week in Devon during the worst downpours I've ever witnessed, and whilst everyone else packed up and went home, we sat it out, as the tent didn't let in any rain, and stood it's ground against the harsh winds during the night.
My only negative would be that a SIG would be nice, and the options of purchasing bedrooms separately etc can make it a costly experience.

Bought 2nd hand 5 years ago when our big Gelert collapsed in a storm. Tent was already 5 years old but never used and in immaculate condition. There is definitely a knack to putting it up and getting used to the 'deranged spider' effect during the process but once up it's an incredibly stable unit with plenty of space for a family in all weathers.
My daughter borrowed it recently for a few nights with friends, there were 4 or 5 other tents on site first night. After 2 days of wind and rain this was the only one left standing, one other collapsed with snapped poles!
I can honestly say I have never felt so secure in a tent as I have in the Khyam.

Got my Rigi Dome XXL about 8years ago, still using it now, it has to be one of the best made tents I have come across, very strong frame, very easy to put up and down, very spacious especially for two people. They are still making a very similar model called the Harewood. If you want to increase the size even more there is massive porch that can fit onto one of its two entrances.

This tent has been used for the last 7 years, never let us down once and we have camped in all weather's, we have also purchased the annexe that fit's well and adds that extra space, easy to put up in the rain and to take down, we have not noticed any wear at all, shame they have stopped making the Khyam in the heavy material,I know the weight is a lot more but it is strong.
