We've camped for years in traditional frame tents and were absolute devotees of the Trio range, which were great when the boys were around to help set up. Our last was still in good nick but heavy and begining to look a bit dated so I bought a Tourer 200 on my wife's 58th Birthday. It's first outing was to the Peak district where it was tested to extremes in very violent weather. Even the caravaners gave up and went home leaving us alone after the storm in the delightful Hope valley. It's been out every year since, both on short and long stay visits.
It looks good on site and attracts a lot of comment. It is of course much lighter and easy to erect but, as important to us, we can stand up inside and there is room for table and chairs if we want to sit in. Look out for a couple of vetrans touring Darbyshire this year!

Good weekend tent easy and quick to erect single handed and for me at 4ft 11ins that matters. Enough room to be comfortable for a short stay what ever the weather. Benefits two doors for when the wind changes direction and windows so I can be nosy. Proper mud flaps that can be pegged to keep the wind out. Have other khyam tents and always been satisfied with the quality.
