Me and a friend used this tent for camping at the V Festival last year. I have to say that it was perfect! Yes there were only two of us but there could quite easily have been four. I don't think that six adults would comfortably sleep in it but two adults and a couple of kids would be fine. As for the blow up beds, we managed to fit one in each room NO PROBLEM! Put the beds in first and then blow them up! We had a lot of stuff with us and didn't have to keep anything in the middle area. There was enough room in the bedroom area. We are taking it camping with two children over the summer to a farm and I am quite confident that the tent will be perfect. It is simple to put up and put down. I would suggest buying extra tent pegs but we managed to get a load in our local poundland!

We bought one of these tents in the May bank holiday Argos 50 % sale so only paid £45.00 for it.

The tent was exceptionally easy to put up and although we are two newbies we still managed to put it up in under 30mins, the bedrooms are made of a polyester material which is hung from the ceiling and sides of the tent and pegged out at the base.

The tent has two 3man bedrooms with a common area in between, one of the bedrooms is larger than the other, I don’t know why this is. Although this is a six man tent – we bought it for me the better half and two youngsters aged 10 and 7 thinking that the extra space would be useful, where this extra space has gone to is beyond me. If you are thinking about this tent for six persons then I hope that all of you are the best of friends on the very best of terms, believe me you will need to be.

The tent seems to be of a reasonable quality for the price, we had no troubles during our first 5day trip providing that you open all of the window vents to deal with condensation.

All in all we were very happy with the tent, the kids were able to try camping at on a budget, I am pleased to say they loved the experience but we have now decided to save up for a lot bigger tent (maybe the Outwell Montana6)

At £90.00 – good value for money

At £45.00 – Excellent value for money

I bought this tent a few years ago, and for it to be described as a 6 man is a joke! 4 is more than enough. It is easy to assemble which I end up doing alone anyway as kids dont help! There isn't a great deal of space in it and is difficult to get a double airbed into but I did manage. Through the day I only put up one room and this maximises space for chairs etc and put up 2nd room at night as its not difficult. I paid £40 for it and think its only worth it. Too much condensation inside in mornings, not a great height. But it is a good enough tent for going away for a night or two but no more. Good tent for the price

We went away on our first camping trip end of April. Weather was beautiful so cant comment on how waterproof it is.There are 5 of us 2 adults 3 boys bit of a squeeze.Eldest son(14)had to sleep in living area with the dog LMAO. Played scrabble in living area at night on our table not much room to swing a cat! There was condensation inside the tent when we woke up too. Will be buying a bigger tent for our next trip in august

I have read the reviews about fitting 4 people, but has anyone managed to fit a double airbed in an inner tent? we attempted to put one in the side to the right of the door, but had to take the inner tent down as it would not fit!

That is the reason for the low score.

This also meant that, as we had put up the canopy, we could not zip the inner tent to provide midges getting in. Overall, the canopy seemed to only have novelty value as you can roll up and secure the door flap anyway. It doesn't really need two more poles to avoid tripping over.

This is the first tent that we have owned, used it at the weekend. Easy to put up, would be better if you could stand up in it. Was spot on when we had torrential rain and high winds, didn't leak at all. Did have serious condensation problem though, everything was damp. Ours is a four man tent with the two bedrooms, got a double airbed in one side and my dogs cage and other stuff in the other side.

Borrowed the tent from my daughter for a return to camping due to economic reasons.

Very basic tent with a certain 'cheap' feel to it, hardly surprising as it is so cheap to buy. I could never in a million years describe it as a 6 person tent as you could only practically get 4 people in it, two per bedroom.

Easy to put up using the rod and pin method. We dispensed with bedroom number two as there were only 2 of us, this meant that we had a large storage space at one end and a 'living room' in the middle.

Just to clarify the earlier reviews, the bedroom compartments came with SIG's and the two separate groundsheets were for: - the smaller for the middle 'living room' and the larger one in case you only use one bedroom compartment. Therefore in our case we used the two separate groundsheets to cover the whole of the open area inside the tent. All as described in the instructions!

We abandoned the tent one evening as the high winds were blowing very fine spray through the covering. When we came back the following day the tent was perfectly dry inside and only two guy ropes had been pulled out, although to be fair, they were pulled from the ground not the tent.

Overall. A good starter tent for probably a young couple but a more substantial tent would be more beneficial to most people.

This tent is described as a 6 person - but we find that 2 adults and 2 children fit it perfectly. We can put two single airbeds in each of the bedroom pods and having the living area between them offers a little privacy. It is very easy to erect - four poles thread through the outer flysheet and clip into rings at the bottom which pull it up into a dome shape. The bedroom pods can then be clipped easily into the outer shell.

If there are just two of you, the second pod can be left behind to store bikes / equipment under the shell, or bring it with you and use it as storage for food or clothes.

The negative: it does not have a ground sheet across the whole of the tent and the two ground sheets supplied do not fit the living area and porch exactly. I found that you need to fold the corners of the porch sheet to tuck it under the living area sheet otherwise the pegs used to hold the shell down get in the way. Other than that small niggle, it has performed well in light rain but has not needed to withstand heavy rain or wind - yet! Overall, this is a recommended tent to start camping.

Bought tent in June 2009, just used it for one rainy night and returned it to Argos.

Paid £43 in a special deal, on first inspection it looked to be worth about that much, a bit flimsy and no mud flap on one side (what's that all about?. IMHO not big enough for 6 but more like 4.

Used it in Wales, it rained all night and tent leaked like an old teabag. Not worth the cash put it towards a good tent.

We bought this in a sale for about £50.00, which was good value really. The tent is easy to erect and take down, the larger of the two rooms fits a double and single airbed, the smaller room fits a double but not much else. We have used it a number of times in all weathers and it hasn't really let us down, there are only a couple of draw backs, one of which is the lack of sown in groundsheet for the middle part of the tent, the second is that anyone over 5 foot cant really stand up in it. My version also lacks the porch flap which means you get wet if the rain is coming at the wrong angle and the flap is left open.

Apart from that, it s a good value low maintenance tent for 2-3 people on a weekends camping
