I love this TENT!
I have camped for many years and have owned many many tents, and still have a decent stock of about 15, running a events company I spend a lot of the warmer months outdoors touring various festivals and events.
I have had this tent for 5 years now and it is still my go to tent. Excellent head room, rugged, has lasted extremely well, and I, and the English, and French, weather has put it through it paces.
I have had to run seam seal over the 5 roof pole seams, but that is to be expected. Never leaked even when quite frankly I would have expected it to.
And conversely to some options on here I love the fact it doesn't have a sewn ground sheet for the 'living' section, most of the time I prefer the grass. And if you do want the groundsheet its hardly a hardship to lay it down and clip it in.
Once again well impressed. Love it a lot.

We bought this back in 2006 whilst I was expecting our 3rd child and I couldn't face camping without being able to stand up properly (not to mention a nice inflatable bed!).
Its been used every year at least once since then. Highlands, Lake District, Peak District, Northumbria and perched atop an exposed farmers field at the edge of the Clyde Valley in gale force winds, camping at all times of the year from April to October.
The ONLY hiccup we have found was when we first put it up, in the dark, at a festival. Definitely wasn't pitched correctly but by morning the site was full with little ability to change it. It leaked that week with the rain, but we proofed it all when we got home and not a drop has gotten through since. And of course we have made sure to put the tent up well.
The winds have had a go at taking it down but nothing snapped or broke or caved in. We love it, the kids love it (aged 12, 10, 4, & 2). Its never been an issue that there is no sewn in groundsheet but we have never really looked for this in a tent. The kids have really put this tent through its paces and it remains standing (we are back just this weekend!)
We are now expecting our 5th child, and we are looking to upgrade due to space, but the tent is still in fabulous working order and I would recommend it to anyone.

Good tent would have been better if ground sheet was sewn in. Fair price but I think there are better tents for same money with sewn in groundsheets which is a must in a big family tent. I only used this tent once and sold it because we were freezing in it and had lots of wee crawling unwanted guests which did not go down too well with my girls

We have just came back from a 6 night camping trip with this tent and would highly recommend it to anyone. It rained non stop for a whole day and we all managed to keep dry. Water did come in on the ground sheet in the main part of the tent but not a lot considering the amount of rain we had! Very easy to put up and take down. Great value for money. Very good size Slept 6 easily and still had spare room!

We have used this tent twice now, both times for a week of quite differing weather, hot and sunny cold and wet, windy, raining and windy. We love the shape and the size, only 3 of us in it, I feel that all tent companies overestimate the actual sleeping capability as 8 people would have to be very friendly and small to share this tent. We use the big bedroom and one of the smaller ones for our son. This leaves tons of space, that said we also put a gazebo up and use it as a kitchen area. This year we suffered terrible weather and except for a couple of seam joins (duct tape, gotta love it) we had no real leaks, I am gonna waterproof it in the spring and keep on using it till we finally kill it, it would benefit from a sewn in groundsheet, but hey it cost us about £100.00 in the sale! so I aint complaining! Would recommend it to anyone.

2nd review now it stood up to some storm winds before ok which came after we had the thing up. But I have been a victim of argos: while putting the thing up last week in windy conditions 4 of us doing it the steel poles gave in at the mid section joins. After scouring the internet and calling argos we are left up the creek so to speak. My mate who is a welder says he can fix them putting sleeves on the out side of the pole at the join. Other than the lack of spares ie none, it has been a good tent and if the poles repair it will be used again as I like the design

We used this tent for about 7 camping holidays and it never leaked but the living area was always a bit too small and the wind did use to get in because it wasn't sewn in and it didn't have any flaps.
On our 7th camping holiday we were on a quite windy campsite as it was high up, we went to the beach that day as normal but when we got back the whole tent was on the floor in pieces, a lot of the poles were snapped so we thought we were going home, fortunately millets sold poles so we sort of got it back up again. The campsite was busy so there was a lot of tents around and out of the whole lot ours was the only one to completely fall down, a few others had injuries but nothing like ours. It wasn't like we had put it up rubbish either, it had extra guy ropes and storm pegs.
We have now done the job properly and got ourselves an outwell Montana 6 tent which we are yet to use but we now hope that we won't be the people on the campsite with a blown down tent.

I used this tent for the first time last weekend. It is easy to put up but you need a helping hand purely due to its size.
The size is great and being able to stand fully in any part of the tent is great. The room sizes are very good and the living area can fit plenty of people in on those wet and windy days.
Due to the size of it it does take a bit of a battering in strong winds so we had to re-tighten the lines regularly.
Overall a good sized tent at great value for money

For those of you who love the Pro Action Nevada but regret the lack of groundsheet (as I did), check out the KAMPA PENDINE 8. It's very similar - steel/fibre glass combi poles, bedroom configuration etc, but it has the sewn in groundsheet. It also has a higher HH rating.
I have now moved on to a sewn-in groundsheet, but I went to a Gelert Meridian. I actually prefer the totally fibreglass poles, but miss the two individual rooms at one end. Anyone got some old Nevada bedrooms? My ex inherited the Nevada!

I've had this tent for 3 years now and have got very adept at putting it up, its very easy but can't do it alone purely because of its size. I like the fact that you can walk upright from end to end. Also if you leave out one of the smaller 'bedrooms' it gives you extra space for storing and cooking, a ground sheet is provided for this purpose. You can open up either side to allow air flow on hotter days, and both sides have large windows for light. It is very well designed throughout with little extras like a strip of pockets built within the larger bedroom pod for bits and pieces you dont want to lose. I like this tent so much I would replace it with a similar one when my present one expires, which it shows no sign of doing yet. We have endured hurricane strength winds and pelting rain in this tent and it performed admirably. The living area is large enough for 7 camping chairs and a table for playing cards on which is how we spend most evenings whilst camping. This is the 3rd tent I've used and it is by far the best. Highly recommended.
