We have a family of 4 children aged from 14 to 6 (2girls and 2 boys) and this tent fits us and all our stuff perfectly. It has enough room for both camp mats, lilos, and camp beds in the bedrooms. There is enough room in the living area for wardrobes and tables & chairs and still enough room for us to all move a round if kept in by the weather. The extra separate area makes a brilliant kitchen or storage allowing a safe area where the kids cant get hurt or touch stuff you don't want them to. The separate zip canopy made, with the use of the royal wind break another great storage area, drying area or porch to sit for shade from the sun or rain. The zip in ground sheet, or carpet was great for keeping the tent clean and bug free and much warmer in the evening and morning.
The strong frame with storm poles is great for the Scottish & North of England weather where it can get very windy.
The extra porch on the side with its inner and outer door made an excellent chemical loo area.
The only draw back we have found so far is the air vent in the side of the rear of the tent which can not be closed could make the bedrooms quite cold at night if it was windy.
Very very pleased with this tent, perfect for our large family and after two years of camping we are still very happy with it.

Just used this tent for a three night breakaway. Very impressed with it, have two young boys of 4 and 2 and they loved it. Very handy as the larger sleeping area, you can remove the inner divider which meant we could put two double air beds together and all sleep in the one room together in case either of them woke up crying. We bought the fitted carpet for this tent and have to say was a great choice. It kept the tent warmer and was pleasant to walk on first thing in the morning. The downside is the erecting of the tent. Mr Smith states that he was able to manage on his own, he must be a tent expert because this for me is definitely for two people to tackle. We followed the instructions to put up the tent which states to put the arch poles and legs through the sleeves and once all five are in position gather them together and lift. This was very heavy and a struggle. We found that the best way was to put in the back one. Lift it and tie the three guide lines and then do the same at the front. Then you can insert the final three without a problem.
I would have also preferred the living area to have some sort of roof curtain with the blue canvas. This would be so it could be attached and make the room a bit darker, as it can be too bright in there especially in the early evening, when the youngsters are going to bed.
Other than that a great tent with lots of room, I doubt that Joe and rich could have fitted the tent in the 6m x 6m pitch as stated, as this tent is 8m in length to start with.
By the way if you are thinking of buying a coleman window fan but unsure if it will fit on the mesh windows, they do.
So I rate this tent 9 out of 10, good, solid. Roomy, with a look of style. Highly recommended.

Bought this tent last week and camped in it a few days later after seeing it fully displayed in our local tent shop. Very good tent for a family. We have a family of 5 and this tent was ideal for us. The integral groundsheet keeps everything out and the living area is plenty big enough for days which you have to stay in the tent. I managed to get it up on my own in about 1 and 1/2 hours but could have done with an extra set of hands (very heavy on your own). Stood up to the very heavy rain we had for a couple of days. We have had tents in the past which the kids have managed to destroy within a few minutes pulling on doors and inner rooms. This one lasted out and I think will continue to last. No problems with the camp site with such a large tent.

We bought this tent as we are a large family 6 of us and because it is a solid tent with thick steel poles and storm poles it has a zipped ground sheet which makes it easy for cleaning and keeps out crawlies. It has 3 bedrooms which had no problems fitting double airbeds. The living area is very spacious with an extra segregated area ideal for cooking. It also has an annexe area ideal for storage and a zipped on off canopy for sunny days. There are loads of windows making it very light inside. All the windows have curtains. Its a very good looking tent which turns heads. We had no problem with leaks through heavy rain and wind. The tent comes packed in a large bag with plenty of room to get it all back in the poles are in a separate bag to the tent. We had no problems putting it up with 2 people and we done this within an hour with kids running around us. We were on a standard 6 by 6 meter pitch which is the same as most campsites and had no problem fitting the tent on. We've had no problems of any campsites refusing us - most sites prefer tunnel tents than the larger dome tents - and we don't have to pay for 2 pitches. All in all this is an excellent tent strong and very spacious and would recommend it to anyone
