We are a family of 4. We love the Haven 800, its spacious & easy to put up and take down. The sewn in ground sheet is an added bonus and kept the water from running through the tent after the very damp start to the summer holidays last year! We have used the tent 5 times now, we have added a carpet which will help protect the sewn in ground sheet, a day room which is massive and a door porch. Hopefully this will solve our problem that everytime we opened the door all the rain from the door ran into the tent. Our friends loved the tent as well and bought themselves one last year. Anyone who is interested in buying a bigger tent should seriously consider the Haven 800, we think its definitely value for money. The only improvement for the Haven 800 would be to have a cable entry point for electrics on both sides of the tent not just one.

We love our haven 800,
Loads of living space,and full height big bedrooms. Lots of guys to peg out, but with a big tent the more the better.Easy to errect 5 colour coded poles. Sewn in groundsheet is brill, we also have the carpet and the footprint groundsheet(footprint is smaller than actual tent though).Also has a optional sun canopy(shame it isn't same colour, it is grey)
Have option of not using 2 smaller bedrooms and having more living area. We leave the bedrooms inside when we pack up, which makes it quicker to pitch. Zips and seams are of excellent quality. The Poles are really strong, and VERY heavy, but again with a big tent the stonger the better.We have tested in March with a constant windy weekend with some extreme gusts, the tent held well(with the help of delta pegs too ). There is a fly screen on back entrance.
Things that I would like to improve on:
1. Would like a fly screen on both entrances
2. Would like to have more ventilation in hot weather window panels open with fly screen mesh?
All in all a great tent, but with large dimensions some sites charge more,but we select our sites carefully.
