Just got back from 2 nights camping on the South coast of Dorset.
As you can imagine it was blowing a gale with gusts of 60mph and heavy rain.
New tent to me but pitched easily and quickly into the wind.
A sturdy tent that performed well as I remained dry and warm.
Once again as everyone says it's really only a 1 man tent once you have all yr kit in it.
Perfect for what I wanted it for which is motorcycle touring.

This is a very stable, tidy little tent. It has withstood gales and heavy rain without a problem.
As usual with a two man tent it is really a one man and kit tent. There is a small porch area, but this is really only big enough for a pair of boots and a stove.
The tent pitches fly first the first time, and all-in-one thereafter. It is very simple to pitch and presents a low profile to the prevailing wind. The Tension Band System is very effective at stopping the main pole from flexing in sidewinds.
At 2.14kg it is ideal for backpacking or wild-camping with a fairly small pack size.

Bought this for backpacking as it is light and easy to pitch. I'm a big bloke and I found it just big enough inside without any kit - I think if I had a back pack I would probably put it in a survival bag or something and leave it outside.
Very pleased with the tent, it stayed dry and sturdy in high winds and heavy rain in Wales last weekend - no problem with condensation as I used the vent by the head end. Recommend it for backpacking or short stay camping.

Bought this tent early 2013 as an aide to getting off on backpacking trips and been off in it 3-4 times already.Room enough for me and scaled down kit though backpack has to stay in the rather small vestibule.
Simple easy and quick to pitch so no issues there. But even though I leave the vents open and pitch correctly on 3 of my four trips I have had trouble with excessive condensation through the night and in the morning wake up with the inside of the flysheet wet and(I think dripping through the mesh(which covers 3 sides around my head)on the inner tent and pooling on the floor around my head.Jacket.Cap etc wet or damp on these 3 trips and yesterday 20/6/13 woke up with the SIM and my head and shoulders wet(Not just damp but wet) So came on here to look at reviews to see if anyone had had the same problem. So far I seem to be the only one.So I may be doing something wrong though I think condensation is dripping through the mesh from the flysheet on to me and the g/sheet.
Raining yesterday morning. With a heavy dew the rest of my trip. And apart form my condensation issues was quite comfy for my 3 days away.Jury still out on this one hence my 8 out of 10 rating.
Good wee tent other than the condensation issues I'm having and will continue to use it.
Tried to be as honest as I can in my review. Hope this helps anyone thinking of buying this tent.

Easy to pack in a backpack for cycle camping, dry and warm every time I've used it. Never seen condensation but I've felt like a needed a vent to let some air in sometimes.
Use it for solo camping, I'd hive it a 10 if the porch was bigger.
Easy and quick to put up, pack away. Height is okay for me and I've not found weather yet it couldn't handle.
Love the tent.

2013 model Vango Banshee 200.
A few slight modifications to this years model, mostly in the position of the vents and a zipped storage area/vent at the front. A cracking little ONE MAN tent that would get 10/10 if it had a slightly larger vestibule. The materials are still excellent and the TBS makes this a really sturdy little tent which will laugh at all but the worst weather.

I had a one person tent but it was too small. I wanted a two person tent but, as I wanted it for backpacking, it had to be reasonably lightweight. This tent has really fitted the bill. Easy to erect and take down, seems strong and well made. It was out in heavy rain for 36 hours but remained dry inside. I feel confident using this tent and look forward to using it for some years.

Got this tent for our first backpacking trip, light at 2kg and best value at this price, we paid £80, it is a tight squeeze for 2 but you work it out between you how to change clothes etc, it stood up well to wind and rain and overall very happy and would definitely recommend.

Brilliant tent for single use, can fit 2 at a squeeze and I mean a squeeze. The lower end (I'm 6' 2) has my feet pressed up against but as long all pitched correctly this causes no problems. Laying diagonal is best for this tent. Its strong and hold up to heavy rain, Stays relatively cool in hot weather (sun burn temperatures) and is easy to pitch and strike within 10mins.
Id say inadvisable for 2 unless you are experiences campers (I'm not). The space inside can fit you, your partner. But has very little room for baggage and hardly any outside. Only one opening could cause trouble for two.
The larger Banshee 300 is perfect for 2, it isn't any longer but you get an extra 200mm of space in height and 400mm wider. Openings either side (new model) give perfect exit for 2 and a small opening at the top for extra ventilation
Result: Perfect for 1 man, 2 at a press to travel light. Otherwise go for the 300 model. Both are cheap, strong, light and compact.

Great light weight tent, not too bad room wise for one man and rucksack. At 2kg it was the best for the money tent for taking on west highland way. You can leave the inner tent attached so it went up and packed up in minutes which was a bonus in the rain and a god send when the midge was on the attack !Never leaked once either(worst wet weather I have been in). Ticked all the boxes for the task.
