What a great tent it does what it says on the box

Very easy to pitch says five minutes took me seven but im in my sixtys and disabled so good so far that was the main tent up and you can use it without guy ropes if it is raining as it was for me.

It withstood very heavy rain and wind no problem you could hear the wind and rain but the tent did not move at all before this I had a metal frame tent and it creaked all night.

When it came to decamping and putting in the bag this was a bit slower about 15 mins but compared to my metal frame tent very simple and a one man job

While this tent is expensive it is worth every penny

One other advantage is it does not have to be flat ground to pitch (but preferable)as it is so flexible

So its a great all-rounder

We went to 3 rivers campsite clitheroe this weekend in a borrowed Eternity 600 and front canopy.

It comes in two separate bags a fantastic well made holdall on wheels for the tent and a smaller carry bag for the canopy, the wheeled bag was great and made handling a breeze.

Upon opening the holdall we found the updated Eternity 600 instructions on a paper booklet that now recommend inflating the Airbeams to 7PSI. Opposed to the 4PSI. That is stated on the fabric instructions sewn into the inside of the tent holdall.

Pitching the main tent was really straight forward we pegged out the four corners and started to inflate the beams again very straight forward in no time the tent was up and pegged out, just in time as the heavens opened. Putting the canopy up took a little longer than the tent but this was mainly down to the torrential rain and getting the positioning of the canopy right, the next time should be a lot easier. I pitched the tent and canopy single handed and didn't break a sweat once.

As I said torrential rain but the Eternity and canopy didn't let a drop in. Very impressed. The fabric is 6000 hydrostatic head and looks a little waxy on the inside and gives you a good feeling of confidence. The rain carried on for an hour or so it got a good soaking.

The main tent has a fully sewn in ground sheet making the main living area and bedrooms feel well protected from the conditions outside. There are 3 external doors all with full mesh doors which will provide loads of ventilation on hot days. The divider on two of the bedrooms can be unzipped to give you a bedroom for four if needed. The extension doesn't have a sewn in groundsheet although it does come with a separate ground sheet, the front canopy fits around the main tent very snuggly and doesn't feel draughty. My only gripe is the canopy front door has no mesh which would of been nice to keep the midges out early morning/evening.

Packing away was again very straight forward and both the tent and extension fitted back in their bags with the minimum of effort.

So in summary fantastic tent, easy to pitch/pack even solo, great feel to the inside of the flysheet with 6000 hydrostatic head, with the extension plenty of room for 6 of us and equipment/furniture. Jack of all trades be it a weekender or 2 week hols tent it will do it all.
