As fairly inexperienced campers we find this tent ideal -easy to erect (needs 2 people though) and take down.Loads of living space and as there is usually only 2 of us, there is plenty of room for storing clothes, shoes etc. We purchased the carpet which makes the tent seem cosy and is warm to the feet on chilly mornings. We love the way the front of the tent can be opened right up which is great if the weather is really warm.Packs away into bag easily but is very heavy. Feels secure in high wind and is bone dry inside even in heavy rain. Recommend it highly.

Used for the first time this April. Did a dummy run in the garden first but putting up was not too much of a problem you will need two people. Great living space, we did buy the carpet which made it feel a lot more cosy. Bed pods can be changed to suit individual needs. Two side doors and front door that can be used either as a door or fully opened flap on poles.
Rained really heavy and not a single drop inside even when wind picked up.
Looked good inside and out
Guess the only niggle is having to roll the window flaps up and down ( me just being lazy) and there is a big vent at the rear of the tent which could do with a way of securing down at night as it blows a gale onto your heads when sleeping.
We shall get the porch extension and footprint for our next trip.

Only managed one trip in this tent but seemed quite easy to erect and very quick to take down, it`s a cosy tent with plenty of space,we purchased the footprint and carpet. Very solid in wind but can`t comment with regards rain, but will be using this tent plenty next year.
Looking to purchase the wide canopy soon but at a better price than is advertised locally.

Great interior space.
Reasonably easy to pitch but will require 2 people.
Instructions on DVD suit me as I downloaded to iPhone. If you have no such device it may be less easy.
Poles can need some effort to insert to ground pegs.
3 doors make access easy regardless of where you pitch it.
Light and airy.
Yet to test the rainproof qualities.
Highly recommended

Used our tent for the first time at the weekend. We also purchased the Wide Canopy, Footprint Groundsheet and Carpet.
The tent is reasonably easy to erect and I'm sure you get quicker the more you use it as it certainly took us a bit longer than the 20mins Vango quote! But we are new campers so it is probably possible!
The tent is fantastic and very easily fits a family of 4 in. I would probably say the bedrooms pods may be a little tight for 6. The living room area feels huge and the canopy provides loads of extra space.
We didn't experience any bad weather so cannot comment on how it holds up to wind etc. But it did seem very sturdy once pegged out completely.
My only disappointment was with the carpet and is me being very picky but the colour of the carpet didn't really match our Laurel/Sage version. However the carpet is of good quality and makes a huge difference to the living area.

This tent is fabulous. I have also purchased the wide canopy which is huge to go on the front of the tent.
The tent is relatively easy to pitch although on first attempt it took nearly 50 mins which is much longer than the Vango DVD says it will take. (20mins) according to them.
However the tent is fabulous. We have replaced our old Vango Aurora 800dlx with this model and it has definitely changed our lives!
It has a massive living area, excellent storage pockets, good sized bedrooms, easily sleeps 6.
The tent is light and airy and last night we had 10 adults sitting inside with room to spare.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this tent.

I purchased one of these as a first time camper, and found that it was simple to erect and very ample for a family of six. We also purchased the 'footprint' ground sheet and the carpet for the living space which all fitted very well together. Used it last weekend in Bexhill, the weather was average with torrential rain overnight. The tent was completely dry inside and stood well against the 20mph winds even without the storm braces in place.
Great tent, Great value for money

Recently purchased, I tested it out on a local field, so easy to erect, quality feels good & layout it excellent.
I also purchased wide canopy which fits around the tent perfectly and gives you acres of shade ideal for outside dinning, all in all I would say great for a medium sized family. I am taking it to the south of France later on in the year I will post a full review after.

On reflection after our first outing this tent proved to be excellent. It took half an hour to erect, very easy as all the poles are the same and the shape is square. The living room is huge lots of room, the bedroom are flexible and proved to be an adequate size. I would recommend this tent for families and couples alike. My only slight worry would be how the tent holds up to wind as the poles are fibreglass and they are often steel on this type of design, but as all vangos have a lifetime guarantee you cant go wrong!
