I have just recently purchased a brand new mercury 9, we are a family of 5 (3young children) we have used the tent for the very first time this weekend on a camping trip to the peak district I cannot praise this tent enough - easy to put up with 2 people (15 mins), withstood extremely windy conditions, very roomy, easy to takedown etc.- I would struggle to find another tent this good. We cant wait until our summer holiday and spend 2 weeks camping in jersey.

We have just sold one of these after 3 happy years of using it. It is easy enough to put up, but you do need to follow the instructions to the letter or you'll have problems. It also demands at least 2 people to erect it. It is impossible with just one.
The poles are all colour coded and are easily pushed through the appropriately coloured parts of the tent. It takes 2 of us about an hour to have it up, and the groundsheet in place, which again is colour coded.
We used the back door as the main door, with the porch area perfect as a kitchen, especially as that's where the vents are.
Bedrooms are easy to put up, and are roomy enough for me so most people will do just fine.
It stands up to everything nature can throw at it; after all, it survived the summer of 2007!
Space inside is great. I can stand up in the main part of it (I'm 6ft 5')

Manufacturer's Description
This really is a great tent for family holidays as it provides accomodation that is both versatile and comfortable. The Wynnster Mercury 9 is a great family sized dome tent that pitches flysheet first making it easy to assemble, it should take 2 people no more than 35 mins to pitch.
The Mercury 9 offers 3 / 4 bedrooms. The 2 person bedrooms in these tents are large enough to accomodate a standard sized double airbed. # All fabrics used in for the flysheet, sleeping compartments and groundsheets have been given a Fire Retardant treatment, which in the event of an emergency will allow significantly more time to escape. # The complete interior of the tent (the communal space and bedrooms) has the benefit of an integral, bathtub style groundsheet and secondary mesh doors, which will effectively keep this space free from insects and draughts. # Each Wynnster tent is supplied with a repair kit and they include an emergency pole repair sleeve, fabric cuttings, seam sealer, guy line, peg point elastic and various clips. # The taped seams are heat sealed with a polyurethane tape to ensure complete waterproof protection. # The colour coded system incorporates colour coded poles and pole sleeves, groundsheet clips points, plus colour coded bedroom hanging points, this reduces assembly time by highlighting the correct place for each part. # The main pegging points have been reinforced with several layers of fabric and strong bar tack stitching to provide maximum strength. # This tent is also Guy Line Tidy. Elastic loops are attached to the tent so that the guy lines can be quickly and conveniently tidied. # The Mercury 9 benefits from Power Ports. These are conveniently located zipped openings in conjunction with lantern loops and velcro cable ties, that allow a mains electricity hook up supply into the tent for the operation of electrical appliances and lighting.
