Sorry for my English, translated with Google translator.
I bought this tent and tested this weekend.
Tent with the tunnel for two people is very easy and very beautiful.
Tested by a strong storm (rain and wind from hours 08 pm at 11 am)
And the tent has held very well.
I am very pleased with this tent and I am sorry that in Italy the mark Vango is not known.

Again, a first time camper, and we spent a very long time both online and in the camping shop checking out tents, ease of use, size and usability. The Vango 500 icarus just seemed to be the obvious choice. Back from our first weekend away and I am 100% sure we made the right choice. We had a trial run in the field behind our house first (this is a big tent and the average size garden will not make this easy to trial), and it took us about 30 minutes. On our camping trip we probably cut this down to 20 mins. As there are only two of us we used one side of the bedroom areas as our cocoon (it was cold so we had blow up mattress, duvets, pillows and the dog in there) and the other side was for all our stuff, leaving the 'front room' free for good sized chairs, table and cooker (on stand). As the weather was so good, we did actually use outside a lot, but in the evening the temps went down rapidly and I was worried about keeping warm - but the double skin bedrooms are very cozy. Taking the tent down is fast work, and as long as you parcel the tent up correctly before trying to stuff it back into its bag, you should have no problems in putting it away. Absolutely 10 out of 10.

I've just come back from spending 2 wonderful days camping in this fantastic tent. Being first time campers we did struggle to pitch it, but thanks to a wonderful fellow camper, we soon had it up ( the tent that is ). Unfortunately we didn't get to test it's waterproofness, due to the glorious weather, but the wind did pick up during one evening, and the tent stood firmly. Loads of space inside for the strife, daughter, and me. Ok I don't have much to compare it to, but I was the envy of many a seasoned camper, who all commented on the size, space, and build quality of the Icarus. Buy one now while stocks last!

I chose the Icarus after reading the reviews here. As a single mum I needed a tent large enough for the kids and dog, but small enough to be able to put up on my own. This is the first tent I have ever owned or put up and it was so easy and straight forward that I managed it in about 20 mins! It was just as easy to take down. The sleeping area was cosy with 3 people and a dog and the living area had plenty of room for all our gear, and table and chairs. Would definitely recommend this,in fact cannot rate this highly enough!

Really good tent for the price, ideal 4 person family tent for short stay use. Very easy to put up.
This is the first Vango we have owned and are very impressed with it. 1st time pitch took about 45 mins and would imagine this could be put up and fully pegged out in about 20mins. It has 2 doors, 1 main one at the front and a smaller 1 on the side. The main living room compartment is very spacious. The rear pod can be split into 2 using a curtain and easily sleeps 2 in each side. (I would of thought having 5 in this tent would be a bit of a squeeze.
Overall I would recommend this tent, especially for first time buyers, short camping trips and small families.

We have just had our 1st weekend away in this tent, 2 Adults & 3 children. Very easy to erect and quite sturdy. You can only so fit 4 single airbeds in the sleeping area. So should a 4 berth really. Could not get it back in the bag afterwards because I forgot to open the little air vent on the side. Value for money though brilliant

As 1st time campers we bought this tent because of all the reviews we’d read about how easy it was to put up, and it was. Having two small children we needed a tent that, in the whole could be put up by one person, and relatively quickly. The 1st time, my husband pitched it in about 30 minutes, but only because he kept checking he’d done it right! Again the same faults everyone else mentioned, about the canopy, and making sure you are careful when securing the doors. We had a heavy downpour the morning we took the tent down, but thankfully no leaks or puddles. We only want to go away for weekends, and there is ample space for my husband, our two small children and myself. We used the sleeping area as one, and got a travel cot and two blow up double mattresses in-which although was a tight squeeze it served our purpose well. For 1st time tent users I would definitely recommend this tent, it fulfilled all our needs.

We have just got back from our first trip in this tent and loved every minute of it. When we arrived at the campsite we got the tent out put the poles in pegged it out and it was up and took about 15 mins! Very quick to put up! The sleeping area is big and could easily fit 2 double airbeds inside. We used it for just the 2 of us and there was plenty of space. The living area was very large and spacious, plenty of room to fit a table and chairs. 2 doors help to keep the tent well ventilated during the day.
Overall a very good tent for a very good price. Looking forward to many years of camping in it.

We bought this tent as we wanted something smaller than our usual tent that would be quick and easy to pitch for short trips away. My husband and I also sometimes like to get away for a couple of days on our own and attempts to pitch our Outwell Hartford L solo have been challenging to say the least!
We have just returned from our maiden voyage with this tent and are so impressed. It really did only take about 10 mins to pitch. We have had all kinds of weather from very strong winds and rain to hot sunshine and the tent has stood up to all with flying colours.
As somebody who feel the heat terribly in tents (and has cut short camping trips because of this on several occasions!)I was particularly impressed with the ventilation in this model. There are two doors, one with no see um mesh and three additional large vents that can be opened and actually work! At night these can be closed and the tent is lovely and snug. Despite some very heavy downpours we had no leaks at all, even from the area at the front door where you cannot seal it as other reviewers have mentioned.
I can't imagine fitting five in this tent, but for a couple or perhaps four travelling very light, this is an ideal tent for short breaks.
Brilliant value for money and also a very pretty shade of blue, ten out of ten!

We have just had our first weekend away in this tent, we bought it because we wanted something a bit smaller than our last tent but had similar height.
It is as easy to put up as other reviews have said.
Very spacious for the 2 of us. We kept the partition in the rear pod up, slept in one side and kept the gear in the other.
We had friends with us in a smaller tent so our living area became the main congregation area for all. It fitted four of us (along with table and chairs) very easily. We were hit by heavy rain and strong winds, it stood up very well and barely moved. If you are careful and put the tent up correctly no water will get in although it cant be helped when the doors are rolled back up after a shower.
We are very impressed with this tent and after 3 attemts to find the right one think we have found it.
Our friends were so pleased with it that they too have been and bought one.
