This is an excellent starter tent, easy to put up, lots of room inside. We used this for the first time in march had on really windy night however the tent stood up really well, in the morning no bent poles. The only issue we have was the zip came off the runner and we could not reattach, however several cable ties later and plenty of tape the door was secured again. We just used the other door on the same side of the tent. When back at home contacted Argos to return tent, had no problems at all was given a full refund, and we bought the same type again, very good tent overall

I bought this tent from an ex catalogue shop, it had a broken pole which was quickly and cheaply fixed with a kit from oswald bailey. For the money, even at full price, this is a marvellous tent, waterproof, roomy and well made considering its a budget tent. It goes up in 20 mins and I've been in it in some very heavy rain and wind, it withstood it well. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Couldn't get it back into the bag but I have never managed to with any tent !

We bought this tent in early May for an outing over the Bank Holiday Weekend and have used it 5 times since then for long Weekend breaks. Very pleased with it. It is extremely spacious affording plenty of room for a large family and all the accompanying gubbings!
There are 7 of us so we do use another small tent, mainly so everyone has a bit of space. I know this is an 8 man tent but it takes 4 very well, could cram another in if you use the bedroom divider in the larger pod.
Myself and my Husband have the larger pod as we have a very large airbed in there and still plenty of room for the luggage. The 2 smaller pods fit single airbeds well and again plenty of space for the bags etc. You can fit double airbeds in but our kids have single ones.
The living area is big enough for a good sized kitchen stand, 2 folding picnic tables 6 chairs and coolbags etc. If the tables were folded you can fit the 7 chairs inside if it rains, we can even sit 7 around the tables but it gets very cramped!
The tent was quite warm even on the cold spring nights although could have done with one of those little heaters. The 4 doors all open to let in the breeze on a rare hot day and 2 of them can be put up on poles making a canopy.
The pods have sewn in ground sheets and insect netting on the doors, there is also netting on the 2 main doors which is handy when being bombarded by midgies!
It withstands high winds very well if pitched correctly.
The only downside really is the fact that it leaks very slightly when it rains for more than a couple of hours mainly from where the loops and toggles are to secure the rolled up doors and nets, otherwise we are very pleased with it. Would get another one.

We chose this tent because there are 6 of us and we wanted space, and it doesn't disappoint. It is 7mx3m and a good shape to fit on to pitches. It has plenty of room in the bedroom pods, plenty of head room and ample space in the living area. When the canopys are up it gives a feeling of even more.
It took me and my husband about 1 hour to put up when practicing in the garden and now takes about 40 mins. It is quite simple - feed all the roof poles in and then start at one end adding the supporting vertical poles and anchor down as you go. We found as long as we anchored the starting end down properly and the guys were pretty taut then the rest came easily.
The tent has been out in some horrendous weather including very strong winds, heavy rain and a heavy frost. We found it stands up to the wind really well considering it is large tent and we've never had a problem with leaks. Condensation is kept to a minimum because of vents at the corners and at the ends of the tent, although we haven't had really hot weather yet to test this further!. It has 4 doors, 2 which have windows and when the canopys are up it gives easy access to the living area.
The downsides to this tent, for us, it is quite weighty. We have a 7 seater and when all the seats are in use we are left with little boot space. We had to put this in the footwells behind the drivers seats. It would be fine however if you had to use of the boot or a trailer.
Also, I feel it's a '2 person' job of putting it up. I suppose in very calm conditions 1 person could manage if they HAD to but not sure if the canvas would be pleased to be put under that much pressure. It is easier if 1 person is on either side putting the vertical poles up at the same time. I certainly wouldn't even attempt to do it by myself.
The other thing we would of liked was a SIG but I suppose that's down to personal choice.
Overall, this is a good sized tent and good value for money.

I feel this is a huge, and serviceable tent at a very budget price. Its easy to put up once you've done it and can see how it goes, although the instructions are only any good as a guideline!
It has withstood some tremendous winds, I would advise pitching end into the wind though as the poles are not as strong when hit sideways on. Packs away well, and is reasonably light for the size of tent. Loads of room inside, we use a four seat foldaway table and chairs to play cards at night and it fits in the middle easily. A very good value tent in my opinion.

We bought the pro action Nevada 8 last year and went camping for 2 weeks in it. It has plenty of room for a family of 4 and all our camping gear which we stored in one of the rooms. I like the fact you can walk around inside it without bending down. Took me and my husband about 1 hour to put up, we only bought it a couple of days before going camping so did not get chance beforehand. Would recommend.

Bought this second hand off ebay some years ago and it was so easy to put up even though there were no instructions for it! Never had any trouble with leaking and once guide ropes are secured it doesn't budge. Nice size large 4 berth bedroom at one end and two 2 berth bedrooms at the other. The living area is spacious and its so nice being able to stand up in all areas of the tent. Good value for money and decent spec.

Another second hand purchase from ebay ! This is a very good value for money tent and for 4 of us with lots of kit its the perfect size. Very easy to construct but needs 2 people due to size. The tent has withstood all that the Lake District can throw at it and not had any problems. Would have given this 10 out of 10 except for the fact that when its wet, water runs inside when you open the door(s). A real shame and we're looking for a porch to add on the side to stop the problem.

Easy to put together as regard to the poles, both fibreglass and then rigid metal ones. Lots of room for the four of us. Plenty of doors, windows and a porch. Plenty of headroom when standing, in each area of the tent. We have had no problems with it leaking, and it has stood up to some very windy weather. Good value for money, however the storage bag split after second use and I needed to repair the seams of the bag.

Good tent would have been better if ground sheet was sewn in. Fair price but I think there are better tents for same money with sewn in groundsheets which is a must in a big family tent. I only used this tent once and sold it because we were freezing in it and had lots of wee crawling unwanted guests which did not go down too well with my girls
