Just been on our first camping with this tent and we loved it. Easy to put up and very spacious. The only reason this tent is getting 9 out of 10 is because as mentioned in previous reviews, the bottom of the doors could do with some velcro on to secure it to the groundsheet. I will definitely be doing this. The carpet is definitely a good investment and looking forward to purchasing the canopy.Absolutely love this tent and it was an absolute bargain at the price we paid, £225 with footprint groundsheet and carpet.

Disappointing. It went up well and some design features (like the pins to secure the pole ends) looked promising. Once up, we went inside to find several loose elastics. They were very badly made, just thick black round elastic loosely tied. We had to redo several. The bedroom pod is an excessively tight fit, we had to loosen a guy to get it in at all.
The front door was unzipped when we unpacked it from new and we hadn't noticed. When it was all done, we went to close the door to go out and couldn't. We had to unclip the front pole entirely to get it shut. It was a good few inches short. Might have been the way we put it up, we'll see next time, but it was a lovely flat pitch.
When shutting up for the night, the groundsheet in the front door is ridiculously loose, flapping around. I will sew the toggles on shorter to try and tauten it up.
We moved to this from a Wynnster Mallard 6 which is extremely similar apart from the front and windows (the only reason we swapped) The Wynnster cost us £140 3 years ago and feels much better made than the Boston, which was £199.
The windows are a great feature and make rainy days feel much less hemmed in. The organiser is another well thought out addition. Didn't use the EHU zip as our electrical stuff is generally in/near the bedrooms, so we just ran it through the side door. For space, head height and light, it was brilliant.
Didn't really get to test it weather wise as we only had one light rainfall while we were away. But judging by the general build quality, I'm not confident! We'll see and I'll update if future trips change my mind.

The tunnel design is what makes this tent perfect for comfortable family camping. I like the fact that the built in floor can be dropped during the day which prevents tripping. Lovely spacious, and bright due to all the windows. Really easy to put up. However, found the sleeping compartment cold during the night, but will have to check ventilation again as we have only used it this one time. Seemed to be a bit draughty. Bought this from Tents4less - a real bargain at £219 considering all the specs. Will definitely be looking at buying the carpet. Very happy with my buy.

Changed our Easy Camp Napoli 500 for the Boston 600 this year.
Only pitched twice but really impressed. The living space is amazing and the bedroom is a really good size.
We are going to make a small modification and glue some velcro to the door flaps as they can let a draft in if its windy.
The windows are really nice touch and its lovely to sit inside on a cold morning. They do need a wipe down if there is a bit of condensation.
All in all its a really nice tent. Really pleased.
I have posted a pic - please excuse the mess :)

We bought our first proper family tent, an Easy Camp Boston 600 and footprint early April 2010 after purchasing a 4person dome tent pack last yr, which was quite frankly AWFUL, the only upside was the free lamps, sleeping bags and air beds that came with it.
Our family (2 adults + 2kids) have been out camping 3 times in our Boston 600 and its been an absolute joy despite some not so pleasant weather.
It is really straightforward and quick to pitch with plenty of space, both in the main living area and in the sleeping pod, with two small children who insist on bringing half the contents of their bedrooms with them this has proven very quickly to be a must.
I'm really pleased the EHU zip has been added, this is not always found on some of the more 'popular' tents.
I have no complaints about this tent and am looking forward to when we can purchase our carpets, windbreaks and awnings, we don't plan on buying a bigger tent for the foreseeable future and these expansion packs could be good when we go abroad.
Excellent tent, superb value for money !

I purchased one of these tents a few weeks ago and just.Wow what can I say? There fantastic, easy to put up, simple and effective.
With the Boston 600 it seems like there's acres of space to put all our cooking gear chairs inflatable sofas or what ever. Last week we managed to comfortably fit 8 in my tent with chairs and everything else.
The 600 is primarily sold as a family tent, however the 2, -3man bedroom areas has a divider which can be unzipped and pulled back to make one giant bedroom with enough room accommodate clothes, tidys and a double airbed! I think personally its better for couples who fancy a little more space if camping for long periods of time. It also has an additional door from the one on the front and an electric hook up zip.
The best I have saved until last. After using the tent I was quite clearly impressed with build quality and layout of the tent, I searched the tent online and found that it also has optional extras, which weren't available from the shop I bought it from. There is also a canopy which available for an extra 50 or 60 quid. If you buy the 400 or 600, this fits easily on the end to expand the outside living space and its brilliant! It made the already spacious tent colossal! paried with a wind break it makes for excellent outdoor dining, barbecuing and socialising, if that's your thing.
All in all the tent cost me a relativity cheap £269 altogether (199 for the tent and the rest for canopy and wind break). I think for me its the availability of additional add ons, which I strongly recommend going for. Also the amazing simplicity of the tent, easy to put up and the thought that has gone into every detail of the tent.
