This is a good, roomy tent for a family on a weekend trip. We're two good-sized adults with three small boys. As another reviewer pointed out, the divider between the two 'rooms' is so flimsy that it isn't really worth keeping in.

My only complaint with the living space is that there aren't many windows, just the two on the sides of the door.

There is a zippered mesh door option between the sleeping area and the living space that would be good if it were very hot, but there's no mesh for the front space, so if it were a very hot night and you wanted more ventilation, you'd have to leave the tent open.

We found it fairly easy to put up - it's pretty straightforward, with just three poles to insert in the sleeves.

It didn't rain this weekend, but it was very windy and while the tent flapped noisily, it held up just fine.

Just used it for the first time found it very easy to put up and had no problems with the tent. If I had to pick a fault with the tent, it would be that its classed as two bedroom but the splitter for the two rooms is a bit flimsy. Better to stay as one big bedroom I think. Going to try the Vango canopy seems to fit well.

We recently purchased the Atlantis 5 to use as a weekend tent. Its easy to put up, we can now do it in 22mins. Plenty big enough, well finished off and stood up to torrential rain without any leaks. The only down side is that Gelert do not have a canopy for the Atlantis and tell us they have no plans to design one. Winfields our local camping shop suggested we try the Vango Icarus 500 canopy. As you can see from the photographs it fits almost perfect. It gave us storage space and somewhere to cook away from the rain. We love the tent and would recommend it - the Vango canopy makes a good tent even better

This is a very sturdy easy to erect tent . Erection for the first time we managed to do this easily within 45 mins. There is lots of space inside for all the equipment a family of 4 needs. All together we were very pleased with the purchase of this tent and would highly recommend this tent for anyone who is looking for a first tent .
